Dai Nam University – The first non-public university to register for educational quality accreditation by the Ministry of Education and Training

In order to keep up with the trend of university autonomy and continuously improve the quality of education, Dai Nam University has focused on ensuring and assessing the quality of education. Since 2010, the University has established the Testing and Quality Assurance Center - a specialized unit in quality assurance, actively implementing self-assessment work and completing self-assessment reports according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In countries with developed education systems such as the Federal Republic of Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States, etc., the work of ensuring and assessing the quality of education has always played an important role in maintaining and improving the quality of higher education. Through more than 100 years of development, the work of assessing the quality of education has clearly demonstrated four key roles for any education system. These are: Assessing the quality of education to maintain and improve the quality of higher education; Maintaining the academic values of higher education; A buffer zone for higher education policies; Serving the interests and learning needs of the public.

Since 2010, the University has established the Testing and Quality Assurance Center - a specialized unit in charge of quality assurance, actively implementing self-assessment work and completing self-assessment reports according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Dai Nam University has 01 staff member who has been granted an assessment card by the Ministry of Education and Training and is one of the first non-public universities to register for external assessment with an educational quality assessment organization. In December 2016, the University received an official dispatch of encouragement from the Department of Testing and Educational Quality Assessment on self-assessment work. At the same time, the Department encouraged the University to closely coordinate with the Independent Education Quality Assessment Center to organize external assessment soon.

Since its establishment, the mission and training and development goals of Dai Nam University have been determined, in line with the educational development guidelines of the Party and the State in the new period. Modern facilities have been invested, classrooms are fully equipped with projectors, internet; the library has thousands of books to serve the learning and research needs of students. The school's training program is built according to current regulations issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, closely following the motto "Learning goes hand in hand with practice", "Theory is closely linked to practice" of the school. In addition to specialized knowledge, English and Soft Skills have become the keys to success for Dai Nam students. Practice Centers are built to create conditions for students to practice professional skills right from when they are still in school.

Dai Nam University has built many practice areas with full equipment to serve the practice of Pharmacy Faculty students.
It can be seen that after 10 years (2007-2016) of training, Dai Nam University has made efforts to improve its facilities, training programs, teaching staff... to meet the 10 quality assessment standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. Over the years, Dai Nam University has continuously strived to improve the quality of training, while providing many different types of training to best meet the needs of learners. Thereby, building the University into a prestigious training institution at home and abroad.
In 2017, Dai Nam University set the goal of completing the external assessment and achieving good results. In addition, the University will also focus on improving and enhancing the quality of training according to the recommendations of the Vietnam Education Quality Assessment Council.
