Dai Nam University through the eyes of parents and new students of K14

Anyone who has visited the school, visited the student accommodation, and directly listened to the teachers’ advice and answers are very satisfied and feel secure sending their children to this university…” That is what Ms. Pham Thu Ha shared when she took her son to enroll at Dai Nam University.

Before agreeing to let her child enroll in the Medical Faculty, Ms. Nguyen Hong Nhung (Bac Ninh) spent a lot of time and effort to find information and verify the training quality of the health majors at Dai Nam University. Even on the day she brought her child to school to enroll, she still thought "if it doesn't work out, I'll transfer my child to another school". However, when she arrived at the school and saw the large number of students enrolling; the scientific admission procedures; the dedicated and professional service and guidance of the departments and volunteer students; the opportunity to visit the facilities at both campuses; and the teachers in the Faculty of Medicine who answered all her questions, she agreed to let her child study for 6 years at Dai Nam University.

Also on the admission day, candidates and parents will be consulted and have all their questions answered about the major, training program, practice - internship activities, career trends as well as practical experience activities during their time studying at Dai Nam University.

In particular, after completing the admission procedures, new students and their parents are picked up by the school's car to visit the facilities at campus 1 (No. 1 Pho Xom, Phu Lam, Ha Dong), visit the dormitory and support registration for boarding in the school's dormitory. Chu Ba Hoang - a new student of IT class 14-01 has started living independently away from home for more than a week. Hoang has now settled into his dormitory and started studying at the faculty. Apart from feeling homesick, everything in the new environment is very favorable for Hoang.

“When choosing Dai Nam University, I had no concerns about public or private schools. I simply wanted to study in a major that suited my strengths, abilities and passions. Everything in the new environment was very convenient for me. We stayed in a clean and beautiful dormitory with air conditioning and hot and cold water right at the school, without having to struggle to find a place to rent and saving on living expenses. From the security guards, the janitors to the seniors, everyone was friendly and supported new students in the smallest things. The teachers were enthusiastic and cared for students more than when I was in high school. I felt very happy and secure studying at DNU…” Hoang shared.

Sharing with us, Vu Hoai Khanh Loan - a new student of class TT 14-05 could not hide her joy when she was admitted to her favorite major and her emotion when she received dedicated support from the school. “ My hometown is far away, my family is poor, so I was very worried about finding a place to stay and paying for the expensive living expenses in Hanoi. I was also worried about whether I could quickly adapt to the university learning environment. However, when I arrived at school, all those worries gradually disappeared. I had a clean and comfortable place to live; the school supported me from the smallest things, the teachers cared for me, and motivated me to study... I will try my best to achieve the best results right from the first semester..."

This year, the day of admission and welcoming new students of Dai Nam University was organized elaborately, scientifically and with a variety of experiential activities for new students.
