Dai Nam University won 3rd prize in the 8th National Non-Major English Olympiad, 2014

Not being English majors, the Dai Nam University team of 7 students was selected from different faculties in the school, but Dai Nam students performed very well in their exams, making a strong impression on the judges with their English listening, speaking, and presentation skills.

Participating in the contest, teams must go through 3 different rounds with the theme "Volunteer": Round 1 is acting; Round 2: answering questions from the judges in the form of multiple choice questions about social and cultural knowledge; Round 3: presentation.

There were only 10 days to practice, write the script, assign roles for the play on the topic of student volunteers, and 5 days to review the Topic of the Organizing Committee. But with the inherent courage and confidence of Dai Nam students, the Contest Team was excellent, showing agility and intelligence through all 3 rounds of competition.

Dai Nam University is one of 6 universities that made it to the final round of the Northern region: Thang Long University, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, University of Finance and Banking, Hanoi Law University, Academy of Journalism and Propaganda. Although it is a very young private university compared to the famous public universities in the North, Dai Nam University students have defeated those universities to make it to the top 3, winning 3rd place in the final round of the Northern region, just after Thang Long University and Academy of Journalism and Propaganda. This is the proof, the pride of Dai Nam teachers and students.

Participating in this competition and with the 3rd prize that Dai Nam University won, it has affirmed that Dai Nam University's steps are completely correct: Training generations of Dai Nam students with good expertise, good foreign language skills and soft skills. Providing society with a high-quality labor force in the integration period...
