“Many people still ask me why I left the corporate environment to come to Dai Nam University? For me, the working environment is more important than other conditions. Last year, despite the pandemic, tens of thousands of businesses went bankrupt, tens of thousands of people lost their jobs and had no income, their salaries were cut, and their social benefits were reduced BUT the lives of more than 600 officers - lecturers and staff of Dai Nam University were not affected, they never had their salaries delayed for 1 day, and even got a raise... In particular, despite the difficulties, Dai Nam still maintained the fund for community activities and talent promotion better (spending billions of VND with the community to prevent Covid-19, floods in the central region, 100% talent promotion scholarships and 50% tuition fees...).

From early morning to late night, I am like a ghost in the school. It is not for nothing that I spend so much time at DNU. “It is not by chance that I do not hesitate to do anything when Dai Nam needs me, even at night, even if I do not come home for a week, my wife still sympathizes and shares. I love Dai Nam with all my heart. Here, I have a dedicated and visionary boss who gives me peace of mind to devote myself; I have teammates who are devoted to their work and love and unite with each other, truly like my second family.

Tet is coming, I am very touched and would like to thank the school for sharing and caring. That is the motivation that helps each cadre, lecturer and staff have more motivation to continue to devote themselves to the common development of Dai Nam. “If I didn't work at Dai Nam, I would have been dead long ago!”

"I am just a poor security guard. After a stroke, I thought my life would end there. But the school leaders directed everyone to care for me and help me, finding every way to cure me so I could survive. Even though my health was not good enough to continue working, the school still tried every way to arrange a suitable job for me so that I could exercise to get better and still have a salary to ensure my life and my family's.

Many people talk and have many "roles"

It is not an exaggeration to say that my husband is probably one of the disadvantaged husbands of female DNU cadres. There was a time when I could not cook dinner for him for a whole month. There were peak periods when I did not get home until 11pm. My husband threatened me several times to stay home and not go to work anymore (he supported me) because of stress... But then I still stuck with Dai Nam, continued to take on more work because I was facing a boss who was so devoted to the school and the students that I could not bear to refuse. That feeling was not something I had by chance. I love DNU because this place will definitely make us proud forever. It will give us not only work but also the freedom to be creative, to "argue" until the boss is tired: "Let me finish talking, can you talk?"

“2020 is a truly special year for the Vietnamese people and the whole world due to the severe impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, overcoming these difficulties, teachers and students of Dai Nam have successfully completed the set goals. Students happily returned home to celebrate Tet with their families with good academic results and meaningful and emotional Tet wishes from the Chairman of the School Council.
