DNU organizes a photo contest "Teaching online but still nice" with a total prize of nearly 40 million VND.
Towards the 14th anniversary of Dai Nam University (November 14, 2007 - November 14, 2021) and the 39th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2021);
Due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic nationwide, the plan for direct teaching and learning has not been determined exactly in the near future;
Dai Nam University announces the plan for the photo contest "Teaching online but still nice" as follows:
I. PURPOSE - MEANING
- Define image and style standards; spread positive energy to staff and lecturers when participating in professional activities at the school.
- Building the image of Dai Nam University as professional, dynamic, and adaptable in all circumstances.
- Help students love their school and teachers more and create more motivation in the learning process.
II. TIME AND FORM OF ORGANIZATION
1. Time for receiving entries:
- From October 29, 2021 to 23:59 November 5, 2021.
2. Voting time:
- From November 7, 2021 to 5:00 p.m. November 10, 2021
3. Organizational form:
The contest is held online on the official fanpage of Dai Nam University.
III. PARTICIPANTS
- All staff and lecturers of Dai Nam University, including guest lecturers (extra points for faculties with many guest lecturers actively participating)
IV. RULES
1. Topic
- The difference in the image of staff and lecturers in daily life and in professional activities.
- Spread optimism and positive thinking to students and colleagues.
2. Contest entry content
- Teachers and staff can send their entries to the Organizing Committee here.
- The entry includes 02 photos (the Organizing Committee is responsible for processing the images according to the general frame of the contest)
+ 01 photo depicting daily life (Simple, familiar, etc.)
+ 01 photo describing the image when participating in teaching, working online (neat, serious, standard pedagogical style, etc.)
- Attach a photo with 01 caption with the content: Personal opinion on the image and style of staff and lecturers in working and teaching online (no more than 180 words).
3. Photo regulations
- Clear photo of face and content to be conveyed.
- Photos can be taken from cameras, mobile phones.
- Contest photos must be in digital format, image files must be in jpg, png format; image size must be larger than 2MB. Standard HD resolution.
- Each contest photo cannot be a composite of multiple photos.
- Contest photos must be appropriate to Vietnamese customs and culture; and must not violate Vietnamese law. Products with inappropriate content and quality will be eliminated from the preliminary round.
4. Scoring rules
a. Rules for calculating individual scores
- The Organizing Committee compiles and selects the entries and posts them on the fanpage "Dai Nam University".
- How to calculate points:
Total score = (1) Jury vote score + (2) entry reach score
Jury's vote score = Jury's vote score * 70%
Contest entry reach score = total reach * 30%

b. Collective scoring rules
- The number of participating staff and lecturers must reach at least 70% of the total number of staff and lecturers of the unit.
- Collective score is the total result of the 5 highest scoring entries of each unit.
- Priority points are given to departments with many participating guest lecturers and good quality entries.
5. Other regulations
- Article reach parameters are calculated according to parameters provided by Facebook and only count data on Dai Nam University Fanpage.
- Contestants participating in the contest are considered to have agreed to all rules and regulations and agreed to all decisions of the Organizing Committee.

- Develop plans and operate programs
- Deploy plan content to departments
- Responsible for synthesizing competition results on schedule.
- Assist the Jury in scoring the works
3. Media Department
- Coordinate with the Youth Union in the process of running the competition
- Design and communicate for the program
