In order to expand the scale of training, ensure output quality, and help students of the Faculty of Tourism and Travel Management find good job opportunities after graduation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University has just signed a decision to appoint the position of Head of the Faculty of Tourism and Travel Management.

Accordingly, Dr. Vo Que will take on the position of Head of the Faculty of Tourism and Travel Management - Dai Nam University from December 10, 2019.

Sharing about the decision to appoint a new Head of the Faculty of Tourism and Travel Management, Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the Board of Directors said: “ Completing and upgrading the leadership apparatus is extremely important in expanding the scale and ensuring the quality of training. In particular, key positions such as heads and deputy heads of departments need to be people with high academic degrees, good professional capacity, and practical management and operation experience in the business environment. This will help the Faculty and the School adjust the content and training methods according to the actual requirements of businesses…”

Mr. Le Dac Son believes that with his talent and practical experience, Dr. Vo Que will make important contributions to help the Faculty of Tourism and Travel Management - Dai Nam University continuously develop and grow.

Dr. Vo Que has taken on the position of Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Travel Management - Dai Nam University since December 10, 2019.

Dr. Vo Que graduated with a PhD in Tourism Economics from the National Economics University; has a Certificate of Environmental Analysis from Yacohama University - Japan, a Certificate of Strategic Environmental Analysis Teacher from the Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment and the Danish organization; is currently a member of the Scientific Council on Tourism of the Tourism Industry ; a member of the Postgraduate Thesis Evaluation Council of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, the National Economics University, the Academy of Social Sciences, and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology; a member of the NEDO Organization (Japan) ; an expert from ADB, JICA; former Head of the Department of Tourism Strategy and Policy - Institute for Tourism Development Research...

Not only is he good at his profession and has many years of experience in management, research, and teaching in the field of tourism and travel management, Dr. Vo Que also owns hundreds of published books and articles published in prestigious tourism magazines and journals. In particular, many scientific research works of Dr. Vo Que have been transferred and effectively applied in practice, such as: Solutions to respond to climate change for coastal relics and tourist areas , Supporting the development of tourism products in Hau Giang ...

Dr. Vo Que also participated in dozens of international projects organized by prestigious organizations, such as: JICA - Japan; WORLD bank, Asian Development Bank - ADB...
