From General Business Administration to Creative Entrepreneurship Skills

People still think that studying General Business Administration (GMB) is to become a leader, is that really true?

Essentially, a general business program teaches students valuable skills through project-based learning. If you want to start your own business or simply want to learn business methods to apply to your work, a general business program is a great choice. With the courses equipped in General Business Administration, students can apply knowledge to analyze and evaluate the market situation; participate in proposing and implementing plans: business and marketing, human resources, finance of a business project, startup project or business startup.

Students can analyze, evaluate and apply the knowledge they have learned related to change management, corporate culture management, organizational behavior, negotiation and resolution of professional conflicts... to be able to start a business and manage a business well, or in the future, manage a business. 

The learning process is a project practice process, from Planning and operating a small business project; Planning and operating a project on social responsibility; Building a startup project, Communication project; Practical experience at a business..., students can apply knowledge into practice, initially understand the practical business operations in the enterprise and have a clearer career orientation.

Perhaps one of the most sought-after and widely experienced benefits of a business degree is networking. Students get to meet executives in companies, future clients at industry events and activities, and you may very well meet your future business partners while still in school.

Building relationships will also greatly aid your ability to work in a team. And, each project, you will work with a different set of personalities. So you can start to apply the theory you will be taught. Collaboration and teamwork can often help you gain insight into what you are best at. Much of the business world is based on groups (companies) of people, all working together (with contractual and payment arrangements), to achieve a common goal.

Analytical thinking

Think practically and apply theory to business projects, real work experience projects and your problem analysis skills will increase through practice.

Decision making and problem solving

Most business requires cost/benefit analysis, but that’s not all. With issues surrounding human resource management, accounting, strategy, etc., Comprehensive Business Administration equips learners with effective decision-making techniques, opens up new perspectives on problems and offers solutions.

No matter what industry you're in, it's important to be able to demonstrate ROI (return on investment). For this reason, you'll need to learn how to analyze and report data to your team, your instructors, and maybe one day, your own board of directors.

Set goals

A leader must set clear goals, must complete his work by a certain date, must complete business projects. However, there are many studies that prove that if you really hope to achieve a goal, you must first set it. And more than that, consider how you will achieve that goal.

Communication Skills

Along with presentations and working with project team members, students learn communication skills that prepare them for work and everyday life. From speaking and writing, you will be able to communicate your ideas effectively.

General Business Administration is useful for those who want to develop their skills to start a business plan, to embark on the path of entrepreneurship. Or at least to take over the management and business of a business or a unit. General Business Administration is not a suitable industry for everyone, it is only suitable for those who are ready to embark on the path of entrepreneurship, ready to accept the risks and challenges of the market and it is always open to those who are ready to step in.
