Graduation project of IT people - brainchild nurtured from passion and aspiration

Graduation project is not only a final task before graduation, but it is also an opportunity for us to express our creativity, explore and develop ourselves. The process of making a graduation project is like we are molding and nurturing a brainchild and the result when that child is formed, it brings us an extremely great meaning that only those who have experienced it can understand.

Graduation project is a long journey, requiring patience, effort and dedication. Along the way, we will face many challenges and pressures. Sometimes, we may have difficulty in collecting data, analyzing information or solving problems. But do not give up, remember that passion and desire will help us overcome all obstacles.

Furthermore, the graduation project is also an opportunity for us to express our creativity. Don’t be afraid to contribute new ideas, expand your knowledge and apply what you have learned to solve real-world problems. Take advantage of all available sources of thinking, technology and information to create a unique graduation project product and contribute to changing the world around us.

Understanding that, students of the IT department of Dai Nam University have known how to turn passion and aspiration into motivation to create their brainchildren, a perfect first product, marking the initial success on their career path.

Through the graduation project report in June 2023, K13 IT students have brought excellent products, which have received high appreciation from the professional council. These products do not stop at the graduation project but will certainly continue to be completed by the students so that the products will be applied in practice.

In this graduation project reporting period, there were 3 topics that were evaluated as the best by the councils. These topics were all topical and of good quality, and were assessed as ready to be deployed and put into use.

To complete the project, in addition to the dedicated guidance of the instructors and support from teachers in the department, you yourself have made tireless efforts.

Tran Vu Dai, class IT13-03.

My studies from freshman to senior year have brought me many different emotions. I have experienced growth and progress not only in my professional knowledge but also in my self-learning, communication and problem-solving skills. Despite the challenges, I feel excited and confident in my preparation to graduate and contribute to society.

Under the guidance of Teacher Pham Van Tiep, I completed my graduation project titled “Building a learning advisory app using ChatGPT on the Flutter platform”. This is an interesting topic, it is topical and helps me discover more advanced applications of an AI application that is stirring up the whole society, ChatGPT. Through the process of doing the project, I was able to practice and develop skills, get acquainted with new technology, and challenge myself in designing and implementing an application.

With the desire to become a lecturer, I will continue to study to improve my qualifications and develop applications to be able to deploy them in practice.

From my own experience, I hope that students will set goals for the future, study hard and persevere in self-development. I wish you all success in your studies and in life!

Through research and knowing that Dai Nam has highly qualified IT lecturers with many years of teaching experience as well as Dai Nam has good facilities to help students have every opportunity to develop, perfect and foster their passion, I chose to study IT at Dai Nam University to fulfill my dream.

However, in the first years of university, I got used to only learning knowledge in class without practicing or learning more deeply, so my first year's academic results were just enough to pass the subject. Thanks to the dedicated guidance of the teachers in the department, I understood that to have high results when studying in a university environment, in addition to passion, I need to be diligent, persistent, and willing to learn new knowledge. So, from the second year onwards, my academic results have changed a lot. To talk about the most obvious change is that I have received scholarships 3 times (1 time Good, 2 times Excellent) and I easily receive new knowledge from teachers.

Then, when I started my internship and graduation project in the fourth year, I had the opportunity to experience technology companies and realized that human resource management in small and medium-sized enterprises was still quite rudimentary, difficult to control and data was not secure. That's why I researched the topic "Building a human resource management system based on Odoo" to help make human resource management easier in small and medium-sized companies. After completing the project, I received high praise from my teachers and right at the company where I was interning, KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company (KBSV), is also supporting to put my product into use.

I had a life that was not too great but not too bad either. Therefore, I would like to share with everyone some of my favorite quotes:

First: Going to college is not the only path to success, but it can be the shortest and most solid path.

Second: Genius is only 1% innate talent, and 99% hard work.

Student Trinh Hoai Nam - Class IT13-01

Through the process of studying and growing up in the faculty, under the guidance of a team of extremely qualified lecturers, I have gained new sources of knowledge. During the time since I started studying at the University, I have also received a lot of attention and help from teachers and friends. The first year is also the initial stage when I learned the basic subjects to get used to the new learning environment. The second year was also quite difficult, starting with the specialized subjects, but due to the Covid epidemic, I had to study online. For me, studying online was more difficult than studying directly at school. In the third year, I started studying specialized subjects and the school also helped each individual have 2 internships at companies and businesses, which was also a stepping stone for each individual to somewhat determine their next development direction. As for the final year, which is almost the last year of the university process, it can be said that it is full of challenges, having to focus on specialized subjects in your field to be able to research and carry out the topic you have chosen.

Coming from a farming family, I have witnessed the hardships of farmers in the rain and sun, the scenes of crop failures due to natural disasters, good harvests but low prices, difficulties on top of difficulties. I always want to use the knowledge I have to create a software to support people to sell their products proactively. That is why I boldly chose the topic "Building a mobile app to buy and sell agricultural products at a chain of clean food stores in Hai Duong", the topic related to building a clean agricultural product buying and selling app on a mobile application will be a good way for me to combine my strengths and my wishes. I am very happy that the topic was highly appreciated by the council. Currently, I am still continuing to update, improve, upgrade the application to improve more functions and make it more stable in the future, and if I am lucky enough to successfully deploy it, I can put it into practical use.
