Green Bicycle – Road to Schools

Aiming to support children in remote areas of Vietnam to have better transportation instead of walking 10-15 km everyday to schools, the Youth Volunteer Team of Dai Nam University has launched the project “Green Bicycle – Road to Schools”. The project calls for support from teachers, staff and students of Dai Nam University as well as from society to donate old bicycles, textbooks, toys etc. Then, the volunteers of the project will fix and polish these bicycles and bring them to children in the remote areas. The project has proved to be a big success as the team has received enthusiastic support from within and outside of the university. Till now, supporters have donated 18 old bicycles and 1,850,000 VND along with many books, toys, notebooks, clothes for children.

The project is an effort of the Youth Organization of Dai Nam University to improve the life of people in remote areas. The contribution of this project might still be humble, but most of all, it stands for the enthusiasm and kindness of Vietnamese youth. The project is still open for contribution and donation from any person, organization who are willing to support children in remote areas of Vietnam.
