Hanoi reminds students about national high school exam regulations

According to the Examination and Quality Control Department, Hanoi Department of Education and Training, for the 2018 National High School Exam, the entire city will organize an examination council. The unit noted that schools should plan appropriate review sessions for each group of students. Students should pay attention to the examination regulations and stay healthy to prepare for the exam.
This year, Hanoi has 123 exam sites.
It is expected that the whole city will have 79,000 candidates registered for the exam, including 67,500 high school students, 6,000 continuing education students and about 5,500 high school graduates taking the exam to get the results for university admission. It is expected that there will be 123 exam sites with 3,300 exam rooms.
Hanoi will mobilize 50% of staff and lecturers from universities and 50% of staff and teachers from high schools to participate in exam invigilation and exam room supervision.
The regulations on national high school exams and university and college admissions are basically unchanged compared to the regulations issued and implemented in 2017. The organization of the 2018 National High School Exam continues to be positive, concise, practical, objective, fair and for the benefit of candidates.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training noted a number of new points such as: independent candidates no longer have to submit birth certificates; exam scores are rounded to two decimal places. Specifically, according to the new regulations, the exam is graded on a 10-point scale, and the odd points of the total score are rounded to two decimal places. This will increase the objectivity and accuracy of the exam results.
