I. Introduction:
– Each person's life path is often a unique path that no two people are alike. The happiness we have in life is the result of overcoming difficulties.
– Overcoming the storms of life, no matter how hard or difficult, joy and success come to people with true and complete meaning. –
This truth has been deeply mentioned in the lyrics of singer Tran Lap: "Every path is paved with roses. The feet also feel pain because of the thorns. The path to glory goes through thousands of storms".
II. Body:
1. Explain the meaning of the author's message
– “Rose” is a flower with a strong fragrance, a bright color of joy, a beautiful flower that is always the highest symbol of love in human life. Here, the rose represents the success and happiness that people achieve.
– “The thorn” of a rose is beautiful but has thorns, sometimes to hold a rose in our hands we have to endure pain many times because of its sharp thorns. Like life, to be successful and happy we must know how to overcome the storms and challenges in life. “After the rain, the sky will be bright again”
=> The author wants to affirm the truth: To have happiness and success on the road to glory, each person must know how to "endure pain" when encountering "thorns" and "go through thousands of storms".

– Happiness, joy… are always the dream and goal of every human being. But the paradox of life still allows hardships to occupy the majority of our lives. Only by going through and escaping from suffering can people achieve success.
Evidence: Singer Tran Lap's life is also the successful life of a person who always knows how to rise up, push back the darkness and bring the light closer to himself.
Born into a poor family with many siblings, Tran Lap had to endure hardships since childhood. His parents went to work to earn a living, locking Tran Lap in the house alone. Therefore, to dispel his loneliness, he turned on an old Soviet radio to "satisfy" his passion for music. That helped him become a successful Rock musician and singer during his 20 years in the profession.
At the age of over 40, when he was diagnosed with rectal cancer, he still sang passionately and devoted himself to his work. Perhaps, many people shed tears of admiration when seeing the image of the late musician with an oxygen tube in his nose, his hands tangled with water pipes; lying in the hospital, he still had a bright smile, raising his hand to greet the audience. Fate did not give this strong-willed man the chance to overcome death's door again. But what he left behind for life is still as solid as the "Wall" he named it.
– Every success includes sacrifice, loss, pain and sadness. Knowing how to accept pain and hardship is also knowing how to strive to reach the destination on the road to glory.
Evidence: Nick Vujic - a disabled man who accepted his physical shortcomings to succeed and become a symbol of courage and will to live all over the world.
– The road to glory is to go through many storms – The lyrics further affirm the will of a person who always bravely goes through all the hardships in life. That is a meaningful lesson about how to live that Tran Lap wants to send to every person, especially the young generation. Living well means knowing how to face challenges, face storms and overcome them. Success will come to those who never falter and fear difficulties.
Evidence: Disabled soldier Nguyen Xuan Nang with the spirit of "Disabled but not useless" has had many high achievements in table tennis competitions domestically and internationally.
3. Criticism
– In contrast to the examples of always facing challenges, many young people today have a timid lifestyle, are discouraged and give up easily when facing difficulties.
– There are also many people who refuse to accept the failures and sadness caused by their difficulties, but instead seek to achieve success by any means.
Evidence: Many officials, in order to get rich, try to corrupt the people; succeed but harm others...
III. Conclusion:
– The lyrics are words of life truth, way of life and will to live. It comes from valuable life experiences from the ups and downs of the late musician Tran Lap – a talented but ill-fated person.
– Although no longer existing, the meaningful life lessons of the mainstay member of the band “The Wall” still live forever in the hearts of readers.
