After the Ministry of Education and Training announced the score distribution of this year's candidates, many universities were able to predict the admission scores. Expected benchmark scores of Northern Universities in 2017
1. Hanoi University of Science and Technology
The expected admission score for Hanoi University of Science and Technology in 2017 is expected to increase sharply. The score range that Hanoi University of Science and Technology is interested in is not the 15-20 point range, but the score range that Hanoi University of Science and Technology is interested in is from 21 points and above. Specifically, on July 13 or 14, the school will announce the threshold score for receiving applications for candidates to know. This threshold score for each major in the school will be different.
For example, the threshold for the "hot" majors at Hanoi University of Science and Technology may increase. Last year, the average score for these majors was 7.5 (equivalent to 22.5 for 3 subjects).
This year, with the current high test scores, candidates with a score of 23 may have their application accepted, or even candidates with a score of 23.5 - 24 may submit their application.
2. National Economics University
It is expected that this year's admission scores for all majors will generally increase by about 0.5 to 1.5 points compared to 2016 (in 2016, the major with the lowest admission score of the School was 20.55; the major with the highest admission score of the School was 25.5).
3. Foreign Trade University
Foreign Trade University also analyzed the score distribution in 2017 announced by the Ministry of Education and Training and found that the number of candidates with scores of 8 and above was higher than last year. At each score level in this range, the number of candidates achieved was relatively large. That is, it can be seen that if only one odd score was adjusted, the number of successful candidates would increase significantly. Therefore, we expect that the school's benchmark score in 2017 may be slightly higher but not too much different from 2016.
4. University of Mining and Geology
The benchmark depends on each different profession. Some professions will be based on the floor score of the Ministry of Education and Training, but there are also professions associated with the 4th industrial revolution, so the benchmark score will be higher than expected, maybe from 18 to 20 points.
5. Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities
The minimum score for receiving applications will not be higher than the minimum score of the Ministry of Education and Training. The expected standard score can range from 17-18 points to 24-25 points.
6. Dai Nam University
The benchmark scores for majors that are popular with society may increase by about 0.5 points compared to recent years. Specifically, these include Pharmacy, Nursing, Information Technology, Tourism and Travel Management, Banking and Finance, Accounting, etc. Some majors may remain stable as in previous years with an expected benchmark score of 15 points.
