Meeting on E-Learning and Improving Teaching Quality

On February 18^th 2017, a meeting was held on the topic “Improving teaching quality and E-learning in 2017”. The meeting’s purpose was to discuss the development strategy of the university as well as the adoption of new teaching techniques and E-learning.

In the meeting, Dr. Le Dac Son had listed 5 opinions of the Minister of Education & Training on the current situation of the higher education system of Vietnam and the development strategy of Dai Nam University in the following years. He stressed that improving training quality is vital for the development of the school. He also mentioned the results of the recent survey which shows that 95% of students graduated from Dai Nam University have found jobs. However, continuous improvement of teaching quality is a essential task of lecturers.

From 2017, Dai Nam University is going to implement E-learning approach which requires every lecturer to update their knowledge and methods to improve teaching quality. The university encourages and supports any lectures to start conducting new teaching methods including E-learning to make their lectures more attractive and effective
