National Conference on Training Trends and Career Opportunities for Korean Language Students is highly topical and applicable.

On the morning of June 28, Dai Nam University (DNU) solemnly organized a National Conference on training trends and career opportunities for students majoring in Korean Language.

The conference connected many prestigious domestic and Korean research experts, bringing 40 scientific articles and lively, practical discussion topics. This is an important reference for DNU and training institutions to update and effectively apply modern Korean language training trends, increasing employment opportunities for students.

Attending the program, on behalf of Dai Nam University - the host of the Conference, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Do Anh Tai - Vice President; leaders, staff, lecturers of the Korean Language and Culture Department; representatives of leaders of Faculties, Departments, Boards, Institutes, and Centers throughout the university.

On the side of the state management agency, there was the presence of Mr. Dinh Hoang Linh - Director of the Inspection Department - Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On behalf of Korean Agencies in Vietnam, the Workshop was attended by Mr. Choi Jae Jin - Chief Representative of Hanoi Korea Foundation Office.

Associate Professor, Dr. Do Anh Tai said: DNU will continue to organize National and International Conferences to create a forum for in-depth and broad academic exchange.

In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Do Anh Tai affirmed that the Conference is a forum for academic exchange, research and teaching experience of Korean language training institutions at home and abroad; an opportunity for scientists and research experts to discuss in depth, update and apply modern Korean language training trends, meeting the rapidly increasing demand for learning Korean language and culture in Vietnam; at the same time, further expanding the cooperative relationship between Korean language training institutions in Vietnam and Korea.

Opening the plenary session, the research team from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology analyzed “factors affecting the learning interest of Korean Language students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology”. From there, they proposed solutions to improve training quality and create effective learning motivation for students.

The research team from CMC University brought to the Workshop a perspective on “the model of teacher specialization by subject in the introductory Korean course”.

The Department of Korean Language and Culture, Dai Nam University, studies “the phenomenon of cultural practice classes for foreigners learning Korean”.

Phenikka University participated in the Conference with the research project "Innovative plan to improve the quality of training for Korean language students to meet the needs of employers".

At the discussion session, experts discussed in depth, evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of training trends and plans to develop job opportunities for Korean Language students in the 4.0 era.

The National Conference on Training Trends and Career Opportunities for Korean Language Students in 2024 of Dai Nam University is truly a bridge connecting experts, scientists, lecturers, and students.
