Immediately after the Ministry of Education and Training announced the National High School Exam Regulations, it received the agreement of many university leaders. Most opinions said that the Regulations are very reasonable and in line with the people's wishes.
All 8 exam subjects will have a test 'matrix' built to ensure cognitive levels from easy to difficult with knowledge content mainly in grade 12.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance (Ministry of Education and Training) said that every year the Ministry builds a "matrix" of exam questions for all subjects. This year, 8 subjects will also have a "matrix"."The exam matrix only states the criteria that must be included in the exam, specifically having all levels of cognition from easy to difficult, from knowing, understanding, low application to high application, corresponding to the content blocks in the high school program, mainly in grade 12," said Mr. Nghia.

The test will have easy parts to ensure that candidates can answer correctly to pass the graduation exam and difficult parts to serve the university and college admissions process.
The Deputy Director of the Examination Department reminded that candidates can review the graduation and university exams of previous years to familiarize themselves. Because this year's national high school exam will have questions at a basic level, suitable for the abilities of high school students and continuing education students, so that if they can answer them, they can meet the requirements for high school graduation . The exam also has questions at a more difficult level to differentiate the level of students, serving the purpose of university and college admissions.
Exam questions, especially those in social sciences and humanities, will be open-ended, creating conditions for students to develop their creativity and practical understanding in doing the test, overcoming the situation of having to learn by heart mechanically."We are urgently completing specific instructions so that students can better understand the regulations, and at the same time organize training for teachers so that the national high school exam can take place successfully," said Mr. Nghia.
