Notice on prevention of acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of Corona virus

Re: Prevention and control of acute respiratory infections caused by new strains of Corona virus
The acute respiratory disease caused by the new strain of Corona virus is developing complicatedly in China and is a new, dangerous disease that can spread quickly, with no specific treatment. Up to now, the disease has spread to 22 countries and territories, in Vietnam there have been 03 people positive for Corona virus (2 people in Hanoi and 1 person in Thanh Hoa).
Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 43/CD-BGDĐT of the Minister of Education and Training dated January 28, 2020 on the implementation of Directive No. 05/CT-TTg dated January 28, 2020 of the Prime Minister on the prevention and control of acute respiratory infections caused by the new strain of Corona virus, the Board of Directors of Dai Nam University requests the Heads of Faculties, Departments, Boards and homeroom teachers of classes to notify all staff, lecturers, employees and students of the school to proactively prevent and control the epidemic specifically as follows:
1. Wear a mask regularly in public and crowded places (including in classrooms and offices);
2. Keep your body warm, practice personal hygiene, wash your hands regularly with soap, and gargle with mouthwash to prevent pneumonia;
3. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, preferably with a tissue or handkerchief to reduce the spread of respiratory secretions;
4. Use only cooked foods;
5. Do not spit in public places. Avoid close contact with domestic or wild animals;
6. Limit direct contact with people with acute respiratory infections; when necessary to contact with sick people, wear a medical mask properly and keep a distance when in contact;
7. If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention as soon as possible and share your previous travel history with your doctor (Students staying in dormitories should immediately report to the Dormitory Management Board for timely handling).
The school board requires all staff, lecturers, employees and students to seriously implement the announcement.
