To prepare well for the announcement of the national high school exam results and university and college admissions, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Bui Van Ga has just sent an official dispatch guiding the announcement of exam scores in two ways.
First, the exam clusters open an electronic information page, candidates access it with their registration number and verification code to see their individual exam results (like in 2015).
Second, announce the list of exam results of all candidates in the exam cluster including registration number, candidate name and exam results on the exam cluster's website.
In addition, the Department of Education and Training can download exam results data from the system, transfer it to the exam registration reception points to print and post notices for candidates to know.

To facilitate candidates, especially those in disadvantaged areas (with limited internet access), the Ministry of Education and Training proposes to adjust the time frame in the admission schedule as follows:
First round of admission: The school will announce the admission results before August 14. Candidates must submit their exam result certificates by August 19 (based on the postmark if submitted by express mail).
Supplementary admission round 1: The school will announce the admission results before September 4. Candidates will submit their exam result certificates by September 9 (based on the postmark if submitted by express mail).
Supplementary admission round 2: The school will announce the admission results before September 23. Candidates must submit their exam result certificates by September 28 (based on the postmark if submitted by express mail).
To avoid confusion when registering for online admission, the clusters widely notify candidates and parents to directly access the website address for online university and college admission registration in 2016: http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn.
According to Deputy Minister Bui Van Ga, schools must complete the grading and send data to the Ministry of Education and Training before July 20. After the Ministry of Education and Training cross-checks and builds a common database for the whole country, the data will be transferred to 120 Examination Councils for publication.
