Seminar "Career orientation and prospects for Logistics and Supply Chain Management students": The key to the future

With the desire to help students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management clearly orient their career path and quickly integrate into the university environment, the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management organized a seminar "Prospects and Career Orientation Seminar for Students Majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management". The program not only provides useful information about the major, but also helps students build effective study plans and connect directly with leading experts in the field.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Hong – President of Dai Nam University – emphasized the importance of Logistics in the current economic context. He also pledged that the school will always accompany students and provide maximum support in training high-quality human resources for the industry.
Opening the discussion, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Director of the Import-Export Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Honorary President of the Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association (VALOMA) - had an inspiring sharing on the topic "Youth with Logistics".
Mr. Hai emphasized that the logistics industry not only requires professional knowledge but also requires flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly. Through inspirational sharing and career orientation, Mr. Hai also sent words of encouragement to students: "Young people need to proactively learn, research, take advantage of opportunities to contact businesses, practice their profession; train their attitudes, and improve their skills" to be able to bring values to themselves as well as the whole society.
Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Thuy – General Secretary of VALOMA Association – continued with her sharing about the opportunities and challenges in the logistics industry. She hopes that the discussion will help students relieve their worries during their studies and at the same time give them more motivation to continue on the path they have chosen.
One of the highlights of the seminar was the discussion on "Prospects and Career Orientation for Students in Logistics and Supply Chain Management," with the participation of leading experts in the industry: Mr. Nguyen Bao Trung - General Director of Van Ho Valley Joint Stock Company, Warehouse Management expert; Ms. Le Thanh Loan - Founder, Director of Gatelink Vietnam Co., Ltd., Freight Forwarding expert; Mr. Nguyen Van Chuc - Assistant General Manager, Panasonic System Network Vietnam Co., Ltd., Global Supply Chain Management expert; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Lam - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, International Technology Investment Joint Stock Company, Logistics Technology and Supply Chain Management expert.
During the discussion, the speakers shared their perspectives on the changes in the Logistics and Supply Chain profession in recent years, as well as what students need to prepare to adapt to these changes. This helps students better understand the development of each field as well as the opportunities and challenges they will face before entering the labor market.
The speakers shared the specific requirements that students need to prepare when entering the labor market, so that they can confidently develop their long-term careers. Ms. Le Thanh Loan shared with the students: “To be able to survive and develop in this new environment, students not only need to understand the trends, but also need to equip themselves with the appropriate skills, knowledge and qualities.”
Mr. Nguyen Bao Trung shares his views on the prospects and career opportunities for Logistics students in the near future.
The seminar also created an opportunity for students to express their opinions and interact directly with experts.

The seminar "Prospects and Career Orientation for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Students" ended with many good emotions and impressions. This was not only an opportunity for students to exchange and learn, but also helped teachers and leaders of Dai Nam University better understand the difficulties and desires of students, thereby building a more friendly, positive and effective learning environment, helping students to firmly step on the path of study and career.
