By participating in the program, students of the Faculty of Tourism of Dai Nam University gain more confidence, have a specific view of their future career path, thereby clearly defining their goals and orientations.
Dr. Ngo Quang Duy - Head of Tourism Department of Dai Nam University shared: " Looking back at the past 20 years later is written from today. If 1 question today can change your thinking and orientation, then it could be a beautiful past to accompany us in the future."
With the participation of multidisciplinary experts, the seminar not only helps students clearly identify the challenges and opportunities they will face in their future jobs, but also arouses strong inspiration, promoting a proactive spirit in seeking career opportunities.
This is an opportunity for students to hear about experiences, perspectives, ways to adapt to practical work requirements, as well as important soft skills that need to be developed to succeed in the tourism industry, where creativity, flexibility and communication are decisive factors.
In addition, the seminar also plays an important role in raising awareness of responsibility towards oneself, family and society when entering adulthood and independence.
Interact with experts - Real-life collisions right from the classroom

Journalist Nguyen Tuan Anh - Head of Student Department, Tien Phong Newspaper, Master Vu Anh Duc - Training Director of Design, 3D Effects & Game Training System - Arena Multimedia, Dr. Ngo Quang Duy - Head of Tourism Department, Dai Nam University.
Commenting on the current tourism industry context, Dr. Ngo Quang Duy said that Vietnam's tourism industry is growing strongly but is "thirsty for human resources", which is a wide-open opportunity for all students in the industry. In 2024, the industry will need up to 20,000 employees to meet the needs of serving 18.5 million international visitors and 110 million domestic visitors.
“If you are an expert in your field, you will never be unemployed. Solid knowledge, expertise and foreign language skills will be the keys to help you stand out.” - Journalist Nguyen Tuan Anh commented
Master Vu Anh Duc emphasized the importance of concentration and perseverance in studying of students. According to him, to be successful, students need to determine the right direction, know how to choose "friends" to play with, build a supportive community for themselves and practice reflexes in communication and presentation.
From his real-life experiences, Master Vu Anh Tuan believes that tourism is not only a service but also a connection with other industries. According to him, attractive stories are the core value to attract tourists and help Vietnam's tourism industry develop sustainably.
Students "profit" because with one question, 3 experts share multi-dimensional perspectives, practical experience and in-depth knowledge
The combination of three guests not only brings valuable experiences but also creates a practical exchange program, inspiring motivation and confidence for students.
Develop soft skills and master the 10 - 20 - 70 knowledge principle for success
Journalist Nguyen Anh Tuan concluded: “ The time spent studying at formal schools only accounts for 10% but is very important, it is the core foundation. 20% of knowledge comes from people around and 70% comes from practical experience. Therefore, learning is a lifelong journey.”
Discussing the skills of a student majoring in Tourism, Dr. Ngo Quang Duy said the necessary standards include 5 elements: smile, sincerity, modesty, speed and intelligence.
This is in line with the applied education orientation of Dai Nam University, where students of the Tourism Faculty are given the opportunity to experience “real-life” experiences at businesses, accommodation facilities, hotels, etc. right from the first year; continuously enriching professional knowledge through meetings and discussions with experts.
