Special emotions at the Graduation Ceremony

More than 1,000 new Pharmacists, Engineers, and Bachelors have officially said goodbye to Dai Nam University. However, the image of a solemn Graduation Ceremony; a meaningful oath-taking ceremony; sincere advice from the head of the school; deep sharing from successful people; and the thoughtful care of the school's staff, lecturers, and employees brought smiles and tears of happiness to the new graduates at the graduation ceremony.

Not only surprised to be able to "unwrap" the new hall, Nong Be Lan Anh - Valedictorian of the Nursing training program, was overwhelmed with happiness when experiencing such elaborate and meaningful graduation ceremonies.

“At first, I just thought of going up to receive my diploma and then go home. I didn’t expect the school to prepare such a solemn and grand graduation ceremony. When I stepped onto the stage to receive my certificate and diploma, I felt like I was stepping onto the pinnacle of glory. I was extremely proud and happy. Thank you to the school for always loving us and giving us such a meaningful coming-of-age ceremony…”

New graduate of the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, Nguyen Thi Le, is especially excited about her new bachelor's gown "branded" by Dai Nam University: "While many of my friends at other schools have to rent one, the school has prepared one for me. Wearing the new bachelor's gown embroidered with the name of Dai Nam University, I feel very proud. I am even happier when my friends and relatives all praise the school's bachelor's uniform for being so beautiful."

The oath-taking ceremony is one of the highlights of this year's Graduation Ceremony; leaving many impressions on the new Pharmacists, Engineers, and Bachelors.

New Pharmacist Pham Thi Hong Nhung expressed: “It is an honor to be the first student to participate in such a meaningful oath-taking ceremony. Witnessed by my family and teachers; shouting the oath in unison, I feel like I have truly matured. In the future, no matter what I do or where I am, Dai Nam University students will always remember the oath and fulfill their responsibilities to society, people, school, family and themselves.”

Hong Nhung - a Pharmacy student who graduated with honors, was given a speech and affirmed that she will become a Pharmacist who combines Heart - Talent - Intelligence - Strength.

Touched by the sincere advice of the Chairman of the School Board

Not only sending congratulations, Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council also had very profound sharing for the new graduates of 2023. During the 30 minutes of his sharing, the hall was silent as the new Pharmacists, Engineers, Bachelors, teachers and parents all listened attentively.

Tran Thi Yen Nhi - Valedictorian of the Pharmacy training program shared: "I don't know why, but when I heard the teacher share, I felt like a father was advising his children; very close, sincere and gentle: "I hope that in the future you will become true pharmacists, knowing the pain of the sick and being happy when caring for and protecting the health of the community...". Surely, we will remember the teachers' advice, absolutely not for immediate profit to trade the health and lives of the sick; never be complicit in the consumption and production of fake drugs".

Happy to be taken care of every little detail

Receiving a diploma is a moment of maturity for new graduates, but for the staff, lecturers and employees of Dai Nam University, you are still little children who need to be taken care of.

Nguyen Thu Trang – a new Bachelor of English Languages expressed: “We ourselves did not notice that our hats were crooked, our shirts were not straight… but our teachers noticed and enthusiastically adjusted our uniforms, helped us put our hats on correctly; coordinated the wings and stage so that we had the most neat and beautiful image at the Graduation Ceremony”.

Practical lessons from successful people

Before leaving school and entering the labor market, the graduates were directly inspired and motivated by business representatives on the day of receiving their diplomas. The lessons learned from the speakers became the luggage for the graduates to step out into society.

Huynh Ngoc Thach - a new Bachelor of Law said: "Before, I thought that the more jobs I changed, the better to gain experience; hang out with many people to expand relationships. However, my thinking changed after listening to Mr. Le Dac Lam share. Changing jobs a lot does not necessarily make you better, but a good boss will help you progress and change. Having many relationships does not necessarily mean quality, choose good people to make friends with and cultivate relationships. These are truly valuable lessons for me to enter society and establish a career."

Emotionally looking back on my journey of growth in 4-5 years of study

Nguyen Van Khai – a new Bachelor of Tourism choked up: “I was really moved when I looked back at the images of myself and my classmates from the time we first entered the school until graduation. From the initial naivety to the maturity and bravery of 4 years later, it was so interesting… Thank you teachers for loving and painstakingly finding images and beautiful moments throughout our 4-5 years of youth at Dai Nam University to create such a meaningful, memorable, and emotional film…”

Walking around the school where she has been attached for 4 years, Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy - a new graduate of the Chinese Language and Culture Department, could not help but feel nostalgic and emotional. Every corner holds countless memories and beautiful moments of friends checking in together.

Ha Duc Thinh - a new Bachelor of Business Administration shared: "My friends and I often joke that every time we graduate, the school becomes more beautiful. Indeed, Dai Nam is more spacious and modern every day. Although I feel a bit regretful about leaving this school, I am still very proud and happy for the next batch because they will be able to study in a Green - Clean - Beautiful - Sophisticated - Modern environment."

New Pharmacist Somchith Keovilaisak (a Laotian student) choked up: “Tomorrow, I will return to Laos to work. But I will always remember Dai Nam University, where there are wonderful teachers. As international students, we always receive special attention and favor from the school. From accommodation, activities, to internship units, everything is arranged and connected by teachers; paperwork is always supported by teachers to be completed quickly. When I am sick or miss my family, it is also teachers who encourage and take care of me. That is why, in the past 5 years, there has never been a moment when I felt lost or lonely. I am extremely grateful to the school and teachers.”

Le Viet Thang - a new Bachelor of Business Administration, was moved: “For me, Ms. Phan Thuy - my homeroom teacher is my "second mother". She is always dedicated and stands by her students in every story of life or hardship in studying. Thank you for accompanying me and my classmates throughout such a long process. I apologize for making you always worry and anxious for your "children" to graduate on time. Leaving the school and teachers, I know there will be many difficulties. But I will definitely overcome them because you once told me: Just find inspiration to overcome all difficulties..."

Starting school half a year later than her classmates, having to repeat 6 subjects... but with her own efforts and the dedicated guidance of her teachers, Nguyen Thi Thuy - a new graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting was happy to receive an Excellent graduation certificate.

“For me, Dai Nam is home, the teachers are like fathers and mothers who are always dedicated to teaching, caring for and supporting their children on their journey to adulthood. For that reason, I decided to continue to entrust my sister to the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. I hope that in her 4 years of youth, she will have many beautiful memories at Dai Nam University; and firmly step on her career journey.”

Goodbye but still see you again...

After graduating, new pharmacist Pham Thi Hong Nhung decided to stay in Hanoi to develop her career. The 10X said she found a job at Thu Cuc International General Hospital, and after stabilizing her job, she will continue to study for a master's degree in Pharmacy at Dai Nam University.

“Dai Nam has always been one of my top choices when I intend to pursue graduate studies. The Faculty of Pharmacy is a good place to pursue a Master’s degree,” Hong Nhung affirmed.
