Currently, the staff in the above positions in the health sector of many ASEAN countries have achieved the lowest level of education, which is college level. In Thailand, most nurses have achieved university level or higher.

According to Mr. Pham Van Tac - Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Ministry of Health, recently, schools have been massively recruiting students to train intermediate medical and pharmaceutical students, leading to a high rate of unemployed graduates. Mr. Tac believes that with the above mentioned group of human resources, there will soon be measures to coordinate and train to "export" nurses who are currently in great demand abroad.
