Student Orientation for Freshmen of Academic Year 2016-2017

From September 26^th, 2016 to September 30^th, 2016, the student orientation week was held in Campus 1, Phu Lam, Ha Dong. In this week, students were provided with important information on the school’s regulations, training procedures, students’ rights and duties. Also, the school also invited representatives from PA83 unit of Hanoi police branch to deliver lesson of law and citizen responsibilities.

In the opening speech, Dr. Le Dac Son, Chairman of the Board, introduced the history of the university for the last 10 years. Although facing many difficulties and challenges, the university always strives to overcome hardship and develop. Thus, from a humble number of 300 students in the first year, there are nearly 6,000 students studying in the university now. Dr. Le Dac Son expressed that with the combined efforts of all teachers and students of Dai Nam University, the university will complete its goal to become one of the leading 20 universities in Vietnam in 2020.

In the meeting, Assoc.Prof. Phan Trong Phuc, President of DNU, introduced the training programs of the university. He also shared with students learning experiences and method to acquire more knowledge and skills. He stressed that students must overcome challenges to become successful. He hopes that the freshmen of 2016-2017 will continue the tradition of the university to achieve further success.
