From the past to the present, the position of the pharmaceutical industry has never declined in social life. Especially in modern life, the increasing demand for health care makes pharmacists a "hot" profession, highly appreciated by society.
In fact, the human resources for the pharmaceutical industry are currently in serious shortage, especially human resources at college and university levels. Moreover, the pharmaceutical industry's human resources are currently mainly focused on the fields of business, distribution, and services, forgetting the field of human health care. The main reason is that the number of colleges and universities with Pharmacy majors in our country is still too small, inevitably leading to a situation where there are not enough human resources to meet social needs.
According to statistics from the Drug Administration, the ratio of pharmacists in our country is only 1.76/10,000 people. It is estimated that in the coming time, the pharmaceutical industry will need about 35,000 bachelor pharmacists to meet the human resource needs of hospitals, not to mention foreign pharmaceutical companies that want to do long-term business in Vietnam are also in need of recruiting pharmacists. Because of this situation, even if they do not graduate from top medical and pharmaceutical universities, as long as they are truly capable, job opportunities for students majoring in pharmacy at secondary schools, colleges, and non-public universities are still very abundant.
Where is a good place to study Pharmacy if you don't pass the medical school entrance exam?
To meet the demand for human resources in the pharmaceutical industry, the Ministry of Education and Training has recently allowed some non-public universities to open training courses in this field. However, pursuing a career in pharmacy means that you are exposed to jobs that require high precision. You must have an inclination towards natural sciences, especially chemistry and biology. Therefore, choosing a school that ensures the quality of training as well as meeting the standards of qualifications is a very important factor for your future career.
Among the non-public universities, Dai Nam University is one of the prestigious and quality training institutions for Pharmacy, despite its young age. According to Decision No. 2965/QD-BGDDT dated August 14, 2013, Dai Nam University was assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training to provide regular university-level training in Pharmacy.
Students studying at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the school study with practice equipment that meets the standards of the Ministry of Health, purchased by the school according to Decision No. 5486/QD-BYT dated December 27, 2006 of the Ministry of Health on promulgating "Standards on equipment, materials, and chemicals for practice rooms of university pharmacist training facilities".

The official teaching curriculum of the Faculty is compiled under the direction of the Ministry of Health, printed and published by the Medical Publishing House and the Education Publishing House. In addition, specialized lectures are also compiled based on the exploitation of the capacity of teachers who have previously taught at Hanoi University of Pharmacy, combined with teachers with high professional qualifications, currently working in the practical field of the Pharmacy industry.
In addition, to ensure that students have practical exposure to the professional environment, the Faculty regularly signs contracts with a number of pharmaceutical companies, the Hanoi Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Testing Center, the Pharmacy Department of Ha Dong General Hospital, Military Hospital 103, Ha Dong Medical Center and a number of other hospitals as practical internship and graduation internship facilities for students.
