Based on the 2015 national high school exam regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, Thanh Hoa has 2 examination councils.

The first examination council organized for candidates only considering high school graduation by the Department of Education and Training had 15,860 candidates taking the exam at 34 examination sites;

The second examination council for candidates who are both considering high school graduation recognition and university and college admissions, hosted by Hong Duc University, had 23,934 candidates taking the exam.

It is expected that 6,200 more candidates from Ninh Binh province will register to take the exam at the second exam cluster in Thanh Hoa. The whole province will have about 52 exam sites for both exam clusters.

According to Mr. Duong Dinh Hoan, Thanh Hoa is currently actively preparing for the 2015 National High School Exam .

From May 12, the inspection team of the Department of Education and Training will begin to inspect facilities at examination sites to ensure adequate facilities for the exam.

With exam cluster number 1 organized by the Department of Education and Training, each district will have one to two exam locations.

Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training also directed high schools in the area to ensure teaching according to the curriculum, and actively review knowledge so that students are confident when entering the upcoming exam.
