The meaningful cakes continued to be shared at Thuan Thanh war invalids camp. During the cake giving occasion, teachers and students of Dai Nam University presented hundreds of Chung cakes to the war invalids at the center. Although the gifts were small, they contained the deep gratitude of Dai Nam University to those who contributed to the revolution, the generations of people who sacrificed their blood and bones for the country.

Although the war has ended, the pain that the wounded soldiers here had to endure is still intact. In particular, Senior Lieutenant Dinh Van Duong (the only soldier who survived the plane crash in Hoa Lac, Hanoi on July 7, 2014) is one of the wounded soldiers with the highest disability rate (up to 90%). The green Chung cakes and the presence of teachers and students of Dai Nam University brought him and hundreds of other wounded soldiers joy and warmth as Tet is approaching.

The “Merit Cake” of Dai Nam Teachers and Students carries a meaningful message about love, solidarity, and responsibility between people in society. After 6 years of implementing the program, the Merit Cake at Dai Nam University will still be an activity maintained by many generations of students every time the Lunar New Year approaches.
