The colorful breath of Japanese culture stands out at the K14 New Student Welcome Day "Colors of Dai Nam"

On November 11, 2020, at Phu Lam campus, Dai Nam University enthusiastically organized the "Colors of Dai Nam" festival with a series of events: cultural, culinary, artistic, sports camps, ... to welcome new students of K14 as well as the opening of the 2020 - 2021 school year. The Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture and 15 other faculties in the school together created a colorful, multicultural festival.
With a grand scale of organization, colorful and brilliant space, each faculty tries to create highlights, unique features, and characteristics to introduce the faculty to new students. The festival really left an unforgettable impression on new students in their first days entering the university environment, entering student life.

In the vibrant atmosphere of the festival, new students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture confidently posed for the camera while wearing traditional costumes of the land of cherry blossoms. The costumes carry the historical breath of the land of the rising sun, from ancient to modern times, still not fading in color. In addition, the presence of COSPLAYERS from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture added a very unique and unmistakable feature to the space of "Miniature Japan". The presence of COSPLAYERS contributed to making the atmosphere of "Colors of Dai Nam" more vibrant and bustling. Teachers and students happily posed with Cosplayers.
School leaders were excited to experience Japanese culture at the festival.
In addition to showing the beauty of traditional Japanese costumes, the new students of the Japanese Language and Culture Department were also extremely skillful in bringing to the camp dishes imbued with the cultural identity of Japanese street food. Surely those who bought and enjoyed those dishes were very impressed with the service, decoration and especially the way our students created the authentic Japanese flavor.

Origami paper folding art is also a cultural beauty that attracts many students to explore and learn. The paper patterns have diverse designs from simple to complex, changing over time but still retaining their unique features, conveying the thoughts and feelings of the people of the cherry blossom country.

In addition to cultural experiences, sports and arts activities are also an important part of the success of the festival. Under the hot sun, sweat pouring down, with burning hands, students of the Japanese Language and Culture Department and teachers dedicated to the audience dramatic tug-of-war matches. Although they could not make it to the finals, their spirit is worth praising.
In particular, accompanying the concert night were singers Justatee and DJ Bassik, two singers who are extremely loved by young people. The two guest artists “burned up” the stage of the Gala concert night welcoming new students of K14 of Dai Nam University.
