The first graduation ceremony of 2022: The thoughtful advice of the Chairman of the University Council and the sobbing of students expressing their gratitude to teachers and parents

On the morning of July 8, Dai Nam University solemnly held the Graduation Ceremony for the first batch of 2022 for 600 full-time university students of the 11th course of Pharmacy, Construction (2017 - 2022) and the 12th course (2018 - 2022) in the fields of Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance - Banking, Accounting, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Economic Law, Public Relations, English Language, Chinese Language.

The 1st Graduation Ceremony of 2022 was held solemnly and meaningfully at the Great Hall.

The award ceremony was attended by Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council; Board of Directors; leaders of units; staff, lecturers of faculties - departments - offices and all students receiving their diplomas in the first batch. In particular, the award ceremony was attended by many parents.

Thoughtful and meaningful advice from the head of the school

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Dr. Le Dac Son congratulated and highly appreciated the learning and training results of the students of the 11th course of Pharmacy, Construction and the 12th course of other majors. In particular, Dr. Le Dac Son praised the students with excellent and good academic achievements throughout the course and those with good achievements in class management.

On behalf of the school's leadership, Dr. Le Dac Son would like to thank the teachers in the Board of Directors and the faculties for their dedication and efforts to overcome all difficulties during the pandemic, when students could not go to school and had to organize online teaching and learning for nearly 2 years.

Dr. Le Dac Son gives advice to new Bachelors, new Pharmacists, and new Engineers at the graduation ceremony.

“Perhaps the happiest and most joyful person at today’s ceremony is me – the head of the school, responsible with the teachers for training students who after 4 years, 5 years have graduated from university with a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Engineering, Bachelor of Science degree to enter the labor market, start a life of earning a living, starting a career. The university degree you receive today is the result of 4 years, 5 years of hard study; it is proof of your tireless efforts and attempts, you deserve to be proud of that…” said Dr. Le Dac Son.

As a teacher, a father and a predecessor, Dr. Le Dac Son had to advise the new Pharmacists, new Engineers and new Bachelors:

“First and foremost, the first and forever person you must thank is your parents and family. Because in order for you to have a university degree today, your parents had to shed so much sweat, tears, and save money for you to study.

Second, after today, you have officially joined the intellectual workforce, entering the competitive labor market. I hope you will soon integrate into life outside the society to earn money to take care of yourself and help your family. When working in any business, you must always determine that the first quality is a positive attitude. Above all, we are new graduates, we need to be diligent, hard-working, proactive; always be modest in our work, always learn from our colleagues to progress. Those are the foundations to create opportunities for us to advance in the future, and have a good income.

Third, when graduating, you must determine that you will have to work and spend time and effort to learn more necessary knowledge in life. That knowledge can come from books, newspapers, social networks, friends, colleagues... Dai Nam University is always ready to connect so that whenever you have difficulties and need to come to the school, DNU will open its arms to welcome you back, maybe to study more, to take supplementary classes...

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, new Pharmacist Vu Thi Huyen Trang - High Quality Pharmacy class 11-06 was moved: “The past 5 years is not a very long time but it is enough for me and other students to realize where we are, what we want and whether our choice is right or not. Perhaps Dai Nam University is not the first and only choice of many people. But because of the word “fate”, we all gathered, studied together under the same roof and wrote a beautiful story over the past 4-5 years. We all created a part of our youth and right now, we would like to wrap it up so that we can continue writing new chapters of our life…”

New Pharmacist Vu Thi Huyen Trang - High Quality Pharmacy class 11-06 emotionally expressed her gratitude to the school, teachers and family at the Ceremony.

On behalf of the students receiving their diplomas, Huyen Trang burst into tears and thanked her family, teachers and friends: “Our first words of gratitude are to our parents, who have always encouraged us to overcome difficulties and hardships. Our parents and family have always been our source of motivation, always following our every step, always comforting and accepting us in the face of our youthful mistakes. Especially, they have always supported our ambitions and dreams.

The second word of gratitude, I would like to send to the teachers. As the proverb says: "Without a teacher, you will not succeed", the teachings and explanations of the teachers not only bring us knowledge but also bring us experiences and practical lessons, helping us to take wings on the path of our future life. It is the dedication, kindness and gentleness of the teachers that have helped us to be more sociable and confident right from the first days of entering Dai Nam University. On behalf of all 600 students attending today's graduation ceremony, I would like to send to the teachers my gratitude, deep gratitude and respect.

I believe that I, like you, can do it and will succeed. Let's all try our best for our parents, for the efforts of our teachers and for ourselves..."

One of the special things about the 2022 University Graduation Ceremony is that many parents from all over the country came to celebrate and witness the sacred and important moment in their children's lives. Proud eyes, satisfied and happy smiles appeared on the faces of every parent.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen (Thanh Hoa) is one of hundreds of such parents. Traveling nearly 300 km from Thanh Hoa to Hanoi, Ms. Quyen arrived at Dai Nam University very early to attend her son's graduation ceremony. She shared: "The years my son has studied and strived are the years my parents have spent their efforts, money, and mind to accompany him. The day my son graduated and held his dream Bachelor's degree in his hands was the happiest day of my parents' lives. All the hardships and struggles in this life felt so worthily rewarded. I am truly grateful to Dai Nam University and the Faculty of Business Administration for providing our children with a modern, dynamic, and safe environment to study and experience..."
