“The Moments 2025” Final: A kind, professional and emotional playground for young people who love photography.

More than 300 works sent in, more than 300 times the heart fluttered for a moment
Since its launch, “The Moments 2025” has received enthusiastic responses from students from many prestigious universities in the North. With the theme “Independence – Freedom – Happiness”, more than 300 works were submitted, not only capturing beautiful frames, but also honest, simple but loving slices of life.
Dr. Tran Van Le: “The theme “Independence – Freedom – Happiness” aims to foster love for the homeland, country, and the happy, simple moments of life through a personal lens.”
Dr. Tran Van Le – Head of the Faculty of Communication shared: “We want students to not only learn from books but also feel the rhythm of life out there. Photography is a way for them to listen to life and tell it with their own emotions.”
Enthusiasm from lecturers - Prestige from judges - Carefulness from candidates
Representatives of the Faculty of Communication presented flowers to the Jury – the “judges” of the competition.
The contest took place through three rounds with three different spirits: "Independence" - "Freedom" - "Happiness", which is also the journey for the contestants to express their creativity, telling stories through light and composition.
Journalist Hoang Ha shared: “I was quite surprised by the skills of the contestants. Even though they are young, some of them are only first year students, they have taken impressive photos.”
The final round was the most memorable part of the competition, when each contestant only had 5 minutes to present their personal photo project to the judges, who were prestigious faces in the journalism, photography and teaching fields.
Contestant Vu Huu Chau - Dai Nam University with the photo project "Keeping the passion of the profession, lighting up the identity" was invited by Journalist Hoang Ha to be a collaborator.
The photo project "Chuong Village Hat" - Artisan Ta Thu Huong and the pride of Vietnam by contestant Nguyen Nhat Minh - Dai Nam University received an 'invitation' to be posted by Judge Nguyen Xuan Chinh.
Shine with passion and serious investment
The three most outstanding faces were named in turn:
Contestant Le Khanh Chi became the Champion of the first season of the photography contest "The Moments".
The runner-up is contestant Nguyen Nhat Minh.
The noble title was awarded to contestant Vu Huu Chau.
Champion: Le Khanh Chi (Hoa Binh University) with the photo project "Continuing the story of peace" - emotional frames and clear messages.
Runner-up: Nguyen Nhat Minh (Dai Nam University) with a photo series about artisans from Chuong village - national cultural pride.
Honorable Mention: Vu Huu Chau (Dai Nam University) with the project "Keeping the fire of the profession, lighting up the identity" - a deep gratitude to those who preserve traditional professions.
Also from this contest, some contestants received invitations to collaborate and publish photo projects in specialized magazines. A gentle but meaningful first push for young people on their artistic journey.
The contest is over – The journey of loving photography continues
Sharing when receiving the award, Champion Le Khanh Chi emotionally said: “I am very happy to be standing here today. But what is more valuable is that I learned many new things, got to listen, received sincere comments and saw the beautiful stories of my friends.”
“The Moments 2025” organized by the Faculty of Communication in collaboration with the PMI Club is not only a photography contest but also a kind academic space where each student can try, express and grow.
The contest has ended, but the love of photography, professional skills and beautiful connections will continue to accompany students on their journey of study and career ahead. The Faculty of Communication affirms that it will continue to organize creative, useful and emotional playgrounds like this in the future.
