Today, August 1, candidates begin registering for university admission.
Today, August 1, candidates across the country began submitting their applications for the first round of admission to universities. During this round of admission, which lasts 20 days, each candidate has 4 wishes to apply for 4 different majors at 1 university.
To help candidates more easily apply, on July 31, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a document guiding the application process of schools when using the results of the 2015 national high school exam.
Candidates need to update their registration information at least once every 3 days.
During the prescribed time of each admission round (Round I from August 1 to August 20), schools organize to receive admission registration (DKXT) documents of candidates. Candidates' DKXT documents include: Original certificate of exam results of candidates; Candidate's admission registration form allows candidates to register for up to 4 majors of the school, ranked in order of priority from 1 to 4. Candidates can download the admission registration form HERE
For each wish, candidates must indicate the combination of subjects used for admission; A stamped envelope with the candidate's address clearly written.
In case a candidate requests to withdraw his/her application to transfer to another school, the schools must facilitate the withdrawal of the application. The candidate must come to the school or authorize (in writing) a relative to come to the school to withdraw the application. The schools must manage the application in a scientific manner, ensuring that the process of finding the application to return to the candidate is carried out smoothly as well as notifying the time when the candidate can start re-applying to another school after withdrawing the application.
Candidates are only allowed to change their wishes within the school as well as withdraw their application to submit to another school for the first round of admission. When considering additional wishes, candidates are not allowed to change their wishes or withdraw their application.
When submitting the application for admission, candidates can request to adjust their priority status. Candidates requesting to adjust their priority status must submit supporting documents for their priority status. Schools will arrange for staff who are familiar with the regulations to review the priority status and facilitate candidates to make corrections if they have appropriate supporting documents.
At least once every three days, schools announce the list of candidates applying for admission to the school.
Candidates can register for 4 wishes in one school.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that the regulation on considering 4 wishes in a school in order of priority from 1 to 4 is implemented specifically as follows: If a candidate has a score that can be admitted to many majors, he/she will only be considered for the major with the highest priority order;
If a candidate fails to pass his/her first choice, he/she will be transferred to the second choice and considered equally with the candidates who registered for the first choice in that major and similarly for the third and fourth choices. The first, second, third and fourth choices in a school are considered for admission at the same time.
In 4 wishes, candidates can register for both university and college at the same time (if the school offers college training).
Schools must publish the difference in admission scores between groups.
Accordingly, schools that use multiple combinations to recruit for a major must specify and announce the difference in admission scores between the combinations.
The Ministry of Education and Training's instructions emphasize: The day after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the threshold for ensuring input quality and before each admission round, schools need to announce on the school's website the combination of exam subjects used for admission to each major or group of majors (hereinafter referred to as majors) of the school along with the quotas of each major;
Schools that use multiple combinations to consider admission for a major must specify and announce the difference in admission scores between the combinations; additional conditions used for admission in cases where many candidates at the end of the admission list have the same admission scores, leading to exceeding the quota;
Admission score for each major. Admission score must not be lower than the quality assurance threshold announced by the Ministry of Education and Training.

For schools that use both traditional and new combinations (combinations used for the first time) for admission, the admission quota for each combination must be clearly specified in accordance with the regulations of the Admission Regulations. At that time, each major must have 2 codes for admission with separate quotas.
The school must enter this enrollment information into the Ministry of Education and Training's enrollment software immediately after logging into the software.
The virtual admission rate will decrease.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that with the current admission regulations, in the first round, candidates can only register for admission to one school, so there will be no virtual candidates. However, because candidates have the right to register for admission using both their academic records and their exam results, in fact, only majors with admission scores 1-2 points higher than the threshold to ensure input quality will not have virtual candidates, while majors with admission scores equal to the threshold will have to take into account a certain percentage of virtual candidates.
In the additional admissions, because candidates have the right to use all 3 exam result certificates at the same time, there will be a percentage of virtual candidates (due to being admitted to many schools at the same time). However, the virtual percentage will be less than in 2014 and before (because previously candidates had a maximum of 6 score reports and could apply to a maximum of 6 schools).
