Topping out of GD2 building - Dai Nam University Complex construction project phase 2 with 1,800 billion VND

Due to the complicated and dangerous developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Topping Out Ceremony of the GD2 Building of Dai Nam University was organized in a minimalist manner, ensuring compliance with regulations on disease prevention.

The project to build Dai Nam University Complex Phase 2 was officially granted a construction permit by Hanoi City in June 2020. Dai Nam University is honored to be one of 229 enterprises in the capital and the only educational institution to be granted an investment decision by Hanoi City to build a school complex on an area of nearly 9 hectares in the center of Ha Dong District - Hanoi.

In January 2021, Dai Nam University officially held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Project with a total investment of up to 1,800 billion VND. The continued construction of Dai Nam University Phase 2 aims to meet the increasing demand for facilities to serve the training of students studying at the school over the years; contributing high-quality human resources in the fields of health, economics, engineering, social sciences and humanities to the country.
After 6 months of construction (not including the social distancing period due to the epidemic), GD2 building with an area of 1,350 m2, total floor area of 12,150 m2, 9 floors has officially been topped out and completed.
It is expected that on April 30 and May 1, 2022, GD 2 building will be officially accepted and put into use.
Dr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Board said that the GD2 building is designed very modernly, ensuring maximum functionality. All classrooms are invested with modern equipment to best meet the teaching, learning, scientific research of teachers and students and the digital transformation work of the school.

Currently, Dai Nam University is also implementing the construction of many items of the Project in parallel. The goal by 2025 is to complete the construction of the school complex with 03 lecture halls, 01 Headquarters building, a system of practical and experimental workshops, a startup center, a practice hospital, a multi-purpose sports hall, dormitories, canteens, etc.
