The love people give to each other not only needs the right person but also the right time to feel, especially when every holiday comes with the atmosphere of gathering and reunion everywhere, somewhere, the sick, the homeless and the poor workers really need the warmth to share. Following the first 3 porridges, the volunteer student team of Dai Nam University continued to successfully make the 4th and 5th warm porridges full of emotion and meaning.

On the night of December 14, it was raining and the weather was very cold. The atmosphere of family happiness was everywhere, but somewhere in the hidden corners out there, there were still poor and homeless people. The green shirts continued to join hands to spread warmth from small bowls of porridge to the less fortunate and unfortunate lives outside of society in the 4th Warm Porridge No. 4. Carrying hot bowls of porridge to give to the homeless, everyone was filled with emotions, indescribable sadness. It gave them more motivation to believe in the meaningful things they were doing. "Giving joy to receive smiles" is the spirit of each green shirt of Dai Nam University.

Bui Duc Anh, a student of the Faculty of Accounting, shared: “This year is the first year I have participated in this meaningful and humane activity, and today is the first day I have accompanied the Dai Nam University student team in the Warm Porridge program. By participating with young Dai Nam University students full of enthusiasm and desire to contribute to society, I clearly see my sense of responsibility. And most importantly, I see in everyone the love, sympathy and understanding for those less fortunate than me.”

Giving hot porridge to the homeless
Welcoming the Christmas atmosphere that filled all the streets of Hanoi, the 4th Warm Porridge No. 5 was successfully organized on the night of December 21, 2017. Following the previous porridge numbers, the green shirts still accompanied each other, weaving through the streets and corners to give love and warmth to the unfortunate. But this time, especially, the volunteer students of Dai Nam transformed into Santa Claus to bring hot bowls of porridge and small socks to the less fortunate people out there. Just holding hands or wishes can help them feel warm, dispelling the cold of winter nights. The Santa Claus of Dai Nam seems to bring small wishes to dispel the cold of winter nights, warm the hearts with warm porridge and filled with love between people.

“Give love to receive love”
In today's life, if there is sharing, living with love and caring, people will live a more meaningful life. That kindness will dispel the coldness and ice in life and bring light and warmth to life.
Warm porridge is a very humane activity, meaningful in educating personality and encouraging the spirit of studying and working for students. Hopefully this model will continue to spread, attract, and bring kind hearts closer together to bring meaningful spiritual gifts to the unfortunate lives in society.
