On the evening of September 26, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, Dai Nam University, solemnly organized a program to welcome new students of K15 with the theme "Journey to the ocean - towards success".

The program is organized online, broadcast live at the studio, connecting Vietnam and Japan.

The program was attended by the Board of Directors, representatives of functional departments of Dai Nam University, together with the staff, lecturers, representatives of K14 students and the presence of nearly 100 K15 freshmen admitted in the first round.

The Faculty's K15 New Student Welcome Program was also honored to welcome special guests: Mr. Vu Binh - Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Fukuoka, Japan; Japan - Vietnam Cultural Exchange Association (JVCA): Mr. Kobayashi Masazumi - Chairman of the Association and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga - Coordinator of the Association.

Representing the business sector and Japanese language education organizations, there were Mr. Takeuchi - General Director of Sekai Jinzai Human Resources Development Joint Stock Company, Japan; Mr. Hashino - Chairman of the Japanese Language Education Association JLAN, and Principal of Osaka Minami Japanese Language School, Japan; Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh - Principal of GAG Japanese Language Academy, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka; Mr. Kotajma Takeo - Deputy General Director, SG Motor Vietnam Company.

In his opening speech, MSc. Hua Ngoc Tan - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture warmly welcomed and thanked the new students of K15 for choosing the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture as the place to entrust their dreams, aspirations and ambitions.

Also at the meeting, Mr. Hua Ngoc Tan gave an overview of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, the training program, the learning roadmap, the requirements for knowledge standards, skills, attitudes, career opportunities, internship opportunities, practical Japanese language skills improvement at Japanese enterprises, the faculty's preferential policies... Thereby helping students better understand the faculty's teaching and training process.

MSc. Hua Ngoc Tan - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture introduced the training program, learning path and committed to 100% employment for graduates.

On behalf of the school, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the School Council welcomed the new students and thanked the guests for attending the event which was very meaningful to the teachers and students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture. She affirmed that Dai Nam University will create the best conditions for students to study and research, creating a comfortable environment for students to promote the dynamism and creativity of youth.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice President of the School Council gave a welcoming speech to new students of the Faculty of Japanese Language & Culture.

During the exchange with the guests, the new students were very interested in the job opportunities and the success of students majoring in Japanese. Mr. Vu Binh - Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Fukuoka, Japan gave very convincing answers from the perspective of a diplomat about the special relationship between Vietnam and Japan in many fields. From the reality of the 8 southwestern provinces of Japan that he manages, Mr. Vu Binh affirmed that the job demand for Oriental Studies - Japanese major is very large.

Participating in the program, representatives of businesses and associations also took turns sharing and answering questions from new students and parents about job opportunities and requirements for students' abilities and qualifications when businesses accept students for internships and work. At the same time, representatives of human resource companies also provided information about some occupations that Japan is currently "thirsty" for Japanese human resources.

Through dialogue, sharing, and direct answers from the guests, new students get an overview of their learning path, objective, multi-dimensional, and most truthful information about their future career fields, while helping students orient their learning path and prepare for life in a university environment.

Participating in the program, students also had their questions answered by the School Leaders, Faculty Leaders and teachers regarding learning methods and skills, such as the effective Bottom of Form online learning method, university learning methods, difficulties in learning Japanese, and experiences in learning Japanese.
