In particular, with the desire to create favorable conditions, bring the best learning environment and experience for students, Dai Nam University is determined to best implement knowledge, skills, attitudes, especially military discipline in the National Defense and Security curriculum for students, deserving to be the "autonomous" unit to teach National Defense and Security best among universities, which in 2019 Dai Nam University was officially licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Up to now, Dai Nam University is one of the very few universities that are "autonomous" in teaching National Defense - Security.

1. Ensure modern, safe and standardized facilities and teaching equipment

The National Defense and Security Education Area of Dai Nam University is located on a campus of nearly 10 hectares at No. 1 Pho Xom, Ha Dong, Hanoi. 3. Training discipline, military standard discipline

Mr. Nguyen Ba Lam - Head of the Faculty of Politics - National Defense - Physical Education said: The training goals of the Faculty and the School always closely follow and are in accordance with Circular 05/2020/TTBGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training on "National Defense and Security Education Program".

Students experience military life as a real “soldier”, performing 11 regimes a day, 03 regimes a week; living according to the schedule in the Army. During the course of study, soldiers must have a solid grasp of comprehensive knowledge on National Defense - Security issues.

4. Ensure full amenities

100% of DNU students stay in dormitories until the end of the National Defense and Security Education course. The dormitory is fully equipped with amenities such as beds, mats, blankets, mosquito nets, air conditioners, water heaters, etc., ensuring material conditions for the "new recruits" to live and rest during the 28 days of training.

5. Ensure food quality

Dai Nam University pays special attention to the health and quality of food and drinks of students. During the training process, the "soldiers" are "energized" right at the school's Canteen. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are extremely diverse with noodles, pho, bread, rice, etc. Food is constantly changed to avoid boredom and ensure nutritional quality for students.

“At first, I was worried because I heard from friends in other schools that military food was not delicious and very difficult to eat. After joining the army, my worries disappeared because the school canteen food was delicious and hygienic. Eating three full meals a day made me feel healthier and more energetic to study,” said Nguyen Huu Duc, a student in Chinese class 16.01.
