Every year our country trains thousands of IT engineers but still cannot meet the large human resource needs of businesses and organizations today.
According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association, Truong Gia Binh , “The shortage of IT human resources is not a new problem, but this situation has reached a red alert level. From now until 2020, Vietnam will lack 400,000 IT workers, which means that Vietnam will lack 80,000 people each year. Meanwhile, each year the market only provides 32,000 IT graduates and IT-related majors. However, the number that can meet the needs of businesses is not much, especially those who are capable of working abroad.”
