What do you study in Psychology?

The training period for Psychology at Dai Nam University is 03 years (09 semesters).

In the first year, students will be provided with the most basic scientific knowledge about the nature of human psychology, including natural and social foundations. At the same time, students will learn about the history of psychology and major schools of psychology according to typical timelines.

In the second year, students have closer access to subjects belonging to the knowledge block of the industry, such as: Psychology ethics, Basic issues of psychological testing, Differential psychology...

From semester VI onwards, students can choose to study 1 of 2 majors that suit them: Counseling - Therapy and Industrial - Organizational Psychology.

For the Counseling - Therapy major, students are trained in depth in clinical psychology, psychopathology, gender and family psychology... knowing how to assess and initially intervene in deviant behavior as well as developmental disorders and how to provide psychological counseling to families or in schools.

The demand for psychological services from the people is increasing, opening up many opportunities for students majoring in Psychology.

For the major of Industrial-Organizational Psychology, students are trained in depth in Management Psychology, Psychology of the Work Environment or Psychology of Conflict Resolution... Equipped with knowledge of skills in selecting, evaluating and training personnel in the organization.

Issues related to mental health care for workers or reducing prejudice and discrimination in organizations... are also focused on in the industry's training program.
