Accordingly, students majoring in Japanese Language will receive the following scholarships:

1. School's scholarships for talent and learning encouragement

New students of K17 majoring in Japanese Language have the opportunity to receive the school's scholarship. Specifically, students with a total score of 03 high school graduation exams according to the admission combination of 24 points or more will receive a scholarship worth 100% of the first semester tuition fee. Students with a total score of 03 subjects reaching 23 points will receive a scholarship worth 50% of the first semester tuition fee.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Dai Nam University will award 50 billion VND in Talent Encouragement scholarships to new students of K17.

From the second semester onwards, students are considered for academic encouragement scholarships or high-quality class scholarships according to the school's annual scholarship fund.

In particular, Dai Nam University students are also financially supported when doing internships and gaining experience at businesses right from the first year and throughout the course with paid internships, part-time and official work at businesses. In addition, the training program is shortened from 0.5 - 1 year/course (depending on the training major) to help students save hundreds of millions of VND in expenses during their university studies.

2. "Huge" scholarships from the Faculty

Over the years, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture has established many rich, diverse and attractive scholarship mechanisms for students who have, are and will study at the Faculty such as: Scholarships for encouraging learning (disadvantaged students with good academic achievements), Japanese language proficiency scholarships, FJLC scholarships, scholarships for experiences in Japan, etc.

Accordingly, students with the highest academic achievements in the Faculty have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to experience practical work in Japan for 7-10 days. Students with excellent academic achievements receive scholarships worth from 6-10 million VND.

Students majoring in Japanese Language have many opportunities to receive scholarships from the School, Faculty and Enterprises.

Every year, students can also apply for scholarships from the following programs: 1-year exchange scholarships for international students at universities in Japan, short-term exchange scholarships for international students, Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT), full scholarships from JASSO, scholarships from businesses for students of the Japanese Language and Culture Department, etc.

3. Corporate scholarships

The Japanese Language and Culture Faculty's Corporate Scholarship Fund is sponsored by the Japanese Language Education Association JLAN, GAG Japanese Language Academy and Japanese Enterprises with a total value of more than 2 billion VND. This scholarship is maintained throughout the school years with appropriate criteria and policies for each school year.

Dai Nam University signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Business Association in Japan.

This scholarship fund was established to encourage and motivate students with high achievements in university entrance exams, high academic results, efforts to study Japanese well, and excellent achievements in competitions inside and outside the school. Up to now, the program has awarded scholarships to more than 100 students of K14 and K15 with a value of more than 1 billion VND.

Students of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, Dai Nam University, received "huge" scholarships from the Enterprise Scholarship Fund for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture awards corporate scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year to K15 students.

Nguyen Thuy Hien - a K15 student of the Japanese Language and Culture Department is known as a "scholarship hunter" with a 50% scholarship for the first semester tuition; a scholarship for encouragement and a scholarship for diligence in the first semester of the first year; a 10-day practical experience scholarship in Japan worth 30 million VND. At the end of the first semester of the second year, the female student continued to receive a scholarship worth 1,500,000 VND because she was in the Top 10% of K15 students with the highest GPA.

4 admission methods for Japanese Language major at Dai Nam University:

In the 2023-2024 school year, the Japanese Language Department (code: 7220209) of Dai Nam University will enroll 100 full-time university students according to 4 admission methods:

- Method 1: Use the results of 03 subjects from the high school graduation exam results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

- Method 2: Use the transcript results, scores of 03 subjects from the 12th grade high school study results according to the registered combination for admission consideration.

- Method 3: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School.

- Method 4: Admission of foreign high school graduates.
