What is attractive about the new version of Soft Skills Camp that students are interested in?

The 2024 Basic Soft Skills Training Camp of Dai Nam University (DNU) has officially concluded, leaving its mark with a completely new format, focusing on training intellectual capacity and inspiring creative thinking for students. This “new wind” has brought interesting and useful activities, helping students maximize their ability to perceive themselves, solve problems, adapt to change, communicate, work in groups, manage time, set goals and make plans.

Change to "activate" all hidden potential of students

The KNM training camp is a unique form of experiential learning only available at Dai Nam University. With a learning model that combines military camp with summer camp, students can experience the discipline and strictness of the army while enjoying the fun and relaxation of skill training activities.

This year, KNM Camp created a "boost" with an impressive new format, exploding intelligence and creativity; helping students develop all their hidden potential.

Instead of physical activities in the morning, students experience the "Dai Nam Arena" competition with attractive content:

- Greeting: Teams introduce themselves through dance, singing, drama, folk songs, skits... to demonstrate their ability to connect, creative thinking, communication skills, teamwork skills and especially help students discover their potential and overcome personal barriers.

- Understanding: Answer multi-disciplinary questions from the Organizing Committee, practice memory and expand knowledge. Through this activity, students can apply university study skills into practice.

- Behavior: Each team solves situations in the family, school, and workplace environments through role-playing and performing on stage. This helps practice problem-solving and effective communication skills.

New activities not only create a useful playground but also serve as a "springboard" for students to "upgrade" their skills.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Head of the Department of Training and Soft Skills Development said: “The change in format this year is a necessary breakthrough for students to develop comprehensively. Role-playing activities and stage performances not only stimulate creativity but also train problem-solving and communication skills. This helps students to be confident, ready to face all challenges in life and work, creating a solid foundation for a successful future” .
