Many young people are oriented and like to study business majors. And International Business is especially one of the prominent majors and has been chosen by many people to study recently. In theory, if this major is related to Logistics, it will be more inclined towards business and management than those who study Logistics specializing in technical fields such as Industrial Engineering Systems, Logistics & Supply Chain. What is International Business Administration about?

This is a major that will provide learners with general knowledge of business administration and specialized knowledge in the field of international business such as international investment, international logistics and transportation, international payment, international marketing, international business strategy planning, etc.

In some schools, international business and international trade are majors of the general business administration major. Therefore, the general and basic knowledge of the major are almost the same and only differ in the specialized knowledge (specialized knowledge of international trade is trained in depth in: international payment, making and implementing international trade contracts, import and export goods delivery, import and export goods insurance, import and export goods transportation, marketing in the international trade environment, analyzing the effectiveness of international trade activities, international business law, etc.)

International Business Training in Vietnam

Regarding training in this major in Vietnam, there are many schools that train in this major at level 4. However, according to Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Hai, Head of Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics, said: "Currently, graduates from all schools are always weak in foreign languages, so it is very difficult to find a job; for students in this major, it is even more difficult because working in an international environment with weak foreign languages will be limited in communication."

In 2016, Vietnam joined the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), member countries must fulfill their commitments on free movement of labor. This creates more opportunities and challenges, especially for young people. According to the Center for Human Resource Demand Forecasting and Labor Market Information of Ho Chi Minh City, the labor force is the force of students and new graduates who still lack many factors for the integration process such as "professional qualifications, professional skills, professional ethics, industrial style and especially foreign languages".
