After the 2016 floor score is announced, students will continue to receive a certificate of exam results and the certificate will include an admission code. Therefore, students need to prepare their application and necessary documents immediately. Once they have an admission code, they can complete the application immediately. This year, the Ministry of Education does not allow the announcement of the list of ranked candidates applying to the school as last year to avoid unnecessary confusion for students.

Before July 30, 2016: The examination councils will send each candidate a certificate of exam results with a registration code. Most students will receive it before July 30, but in some cases, if it takes more time to send by post, it may take until August 1.

► August 1 to August 12: Start making application for the first round of admission: Each candidate can be considered for admission to a maximum of 2 schools, a maximum of 2 majors in each school, and there is an order of priority for admission in each school. In each school, if you have been admitted to priority 1 school, priority 2 will not be considered. The first round of admission lasts 12 days from August 1.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the first round of university and college admissions starts from August 1st to August 12th. Students should buy a file bag to hold these two documents and the fee can be transferred by post or bank if the school has a bank transfer service.

University and college admission application documents in 2016 for candidates submitting their application by post include:

1. Application form clearly stating the admission period

(Candidates can download the application form here: Application Form 2016)

Use the code in the exam result certificate to fill in the exam registration form.

2. A stamped envelope with the candidate's full name, address and contact phone number clearly written on it.

Candidates need to fill in all information and send it to the school they want to apply for along with the application fee by post. The date and time on the postmark must not be later than 5:00 p.m. on August 12, 2016.

University and college admission fees 2016

The admission fee is 30,000 VND/application and candidates pay this fee via postal service. You just need to bring it to the post office and they will guide you to transfer the fee.

In addition, some schools allow students to pay tuition fees by bank transfer, so you should also take note.

Note: Candidates need to keep the certificate of exam results, there is only one form of this paper and will submit it when admitted to the school. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, candidates admitted in the first round will submit the certificate of exam results before August 19.

Before August 14, schools will announce the first round of admission scores.

By August 19, 2016 (according to the postmark if submitting by express mail): Candidates admitted in the first round must submit their Certificate of Exam Results to the school of admission.

From August 21, 2016 to August 31, 2016: Accepting applications for additional admissions, each additional admission lasts 10 days. Whether each school has additional admissions is different, usually only about 30% of the total enrollment quota remains, and many large and prestigious schools may not consider additional admissions because they have already recruited enough for the first admissions round.
