There are many concerns about job opportunities in accounting after graduation. To help candidates better understand accounting and what to do after graduating from accounting, Dai Nam University will introduce more clearly about career opportunities in this promising profession.

Accounting is a field of study that trains experts to work with numbers, requiring accuracy and no errors in calculation work. Accounting students will be provided with knowledge about the legal framework of auditing accounting, the system of Vietnamese accounting standards and international accounting standards; regulations on professional ethics of auditing accounting; knowledge about collecting, processing, checking and providing information on financial status, business performance through accounting operations: calculating fees, making estimates, allocating budgets, managing revenue closely following the business plans of the enterprise.

Accounting is always an attractive profession for young people.

Subjects that effectively serve the profession such as Introduction to Finance and Money, Principles of Accounting, Application of Information Technology in Business, Financial Statement Analysis, Preparation and Presentation of Financial Statements, Taxes, Accounting for Securities Companies, etc.

In addition to basic knowledge, students majoring in Accounting are also equipped with other skills such as communication skills, planning skills, time management skills, etc. In particular, many universities also focus on improving English for students.

According to the research of the labor market, by 2018, the employment rate of the accounting field will grow by about 22% per year. Therefore, the job opportunities of the accounting industry are extremely large. Accounting graduates can take on many positions such as Specialist in charge of accounting, auditing, banking transactions, taxes, controllers, cashiers, financial consultants; Stock brokers, project managers, transaction office and treasury staff; Research, Lecturer, Economic Inspector...

With the above basic knowledge, Dai Nam University hopes that candidates can better understand the major and the job positions they can take after graduation.

In 2018, Dai Nam University recruited 110 students for Accounting major according to 2 admission methods:
- Admission method 1: Admission of high school graduates based on the results of the National High School Exam at examination clusters hosted by universities
- Admission method 2: Admission of high school graduates based on high school academic results with the following conditions: total score of 3 subjects according to the exam block of grade 12 for university candidates is 18 points or higher and conduct is Good.
