2022 Health Student Sports Festival: "Valuable" career experiences

With the aim of creating a healthy playground to help students of the Health sector learn, experience, apply specialized knowledge to real life; have fun, entertain, exchange, learn and exercise after stressful study hours, Dai Nam University Youth Union organizes the 2022 Health Sector Student Sports Festival with many interesting and useful experiential activities.

Speaking at the Sports Festival, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal, Head of the Movement Committee shared: “If there is only studying and researching in the lecture halls, practice rooms - laboratories without fun and entertainment activities, learning while playing - playing while learning, students will not have the opportunity to experience and develop themselves comprehensively. This is the reason why Dai Nam University continuously organizes movement activities, creating a healthy and useful playground for students. The 2022 Health Student Sports Festival is designed specifically for students of the Faculty of Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing. The 2022 Health Student Sports Festival was held with activities such as: Men's student football tournament, White blouse beauty photo contest, Blouse Marathon, Golden Bell contest... attracting the attention and participation of many students. This is the first and largest offline program since the activities of the School and Youth Union were affected by the Covid 19 pandemic.
Men's College Football Tournament: 8 teams, 16 intense matches
The Health block male student soccer tournament gathered 8 teams to compete.
Ms. Cao Thi Hoa and Mr. Le Van Duy - Head of Nursing Department awarded the first prize to the K12 Pharmacy team.
The Men's Football Tournament for Health students gathered 8 teams to compete. With 16 knockout matches, the Organizing Committee selected the best team to award prizes. The first prize went to the Pharmacy team K12, the second prize went to the Nursing inter-faculty, and the third prize went to the General Medicine team K14.
White Blouse Beauty Photo Contest: Hundreds of quality entries
The White Blouse Beauty Photo Contest, just a few days after its launch, the Organizing Committee has received hundreds of entries from students. In addition to the investment in image quality, the White Blouse Beauty Photo Contest has made a strong impression with its humane and touching messages about the profession of young people.
Ms. Cao Thi Hoa awarded first prize in the White Blouse Beauty photo contest to contestant Dang Mai Thien Ha - Faculty of Pharmacy.
“Studying medicine without passion not only affects you but also harms others; Either help or do not create more harm; Do not accidentally make doctors harsh, they are also human; For us, wearing a white blouse means shouldering heavy responsibilities; The color of the blouse is always a support for people at all times; When wearing a white blouse, medical profession and medical ethics must always go hand in hand; Every nurse wearing a white blouse is a… warrior…” are the messages that students of the Health Department of Dai Nam University sent through the photo contest The Beauty of White Blouse.
The voting results show that the first prize went to contestant Dang Mai Thien Ha - Faculty of Pharmacy; the second prize went to contestant Pham Ha Giang - Faculty of Pharmacy, Tran Hai Yen - Faculty of Medicine; the third prize went to Vu Duy Khai - Faculty of Medicine, Nguyen Mai Huong - Faculty of Nursing and Chansamone sengsouda - Laotian international student, Faculty of Nursing.
Marathon blouse: Challenge specialized knowledge and teamwork skills
The highlight of this year's Health Student Sports Festival is the Blouse Marathon. This is a competition that challenges the students' professional knowledge and teamwork skills.
The teams were excited about the Marathon blouse competition.
Through 4 competition stations, station 1 - arranging anatomical models, station 2 - classifying objects, station 3 - first aid, wound dressing, station 4 - transporting patients, the teams demonstrated their ability to flexibly adapt in applying knowledge learned in the classroom to real life, solidarity, and good teamwork skills.
Station 1 – arrange anatomical models, test and apply anatomical knowledge in practice.
Overcome obstacles to classify drugs.
Station 2 – select and classify drugs according to each team's drawn topic.
Station 3 - first aid, wound dressing, applying basic nursing knowledge into practice.
Station 4 - transporting patients, practicing running stations, a premise for a larger-scale station running competition in the future.
Accordingly, the first prize went to the Faculty of Pharmacy, the second prize went to the Faculty of Nursing and the third prize went to the Faculty of Medicine.
Golden Bell: Multi-disciplinary knowledge challenge
Candidates are excited and the Golden Bell competition.
The Golden Bell contest challenges students in many fields. The three best students of the contest are Nguyen Tien Hung - Faculty of Pharmacy, Bui Thi Thuy Duong - Faculty of Nursing, Tran Manh Cuong - Faculty of Pharmacy.
Comrade Vu Dang Tuan Anh - Secretary of the School Youth Union awarded prizes to the 3 best contestants of the Golden Bell competition.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Faculty of Pharmacy, the second prize to the Faculty of Nursing and the third prize to the Faculty of Medicine.
Comrade Vu Dang Tuan Anh presented flags and certificates to representatives of the faculties.
Sharing his feelings when participating in the Sports Festival, Nguyen Tien Hung - Faculty of Pharmacy said: “This year’s Sports Festival is really interesting and useful. We can both study and have fun. I hope the school will continue to have more useful experiential activities like this so that we can learn, gain experience and make friends…”
The Faculty of Pharmacy excelled in winning prizes in all competitions.
