With the goal of improving research capacity and professional qualifications for students, recently the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University organized the "Youth Scientific Conference of Pharmacy, Dai Nam University" with many excellent topics of high applicability.
The conference was held to evaluate scientific and technological research projects of quality and practical application; to exchange experiences and scientific research results as well as the role of youth in scientific research activities; to honor future pharmacists, serving the cause of caring for and protecting people's health.

Scientific conferences are opportunities for students to demonstrate their abilities.
The first “Youth Science Competition of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Dai Nam University” was launched in early 2018 with 12 registered topics. After a long period of research, in the preliminary round, the organizing committee evaluated and selected 7 best topics to present at this scientific conference.

7 excellent topics attended the scientific conference
The scientific works reported at this year's Pharmaceutical Conference were assessed by the Jury as being of good quality, carefully prepared, with high scientific value, creativity and practical value.
“Through this conference, it shows that the quality of scientific research is increasingly approaching advanced techniques in the region and the world. That affirms the attention of schools to the training and development of young staff to create quality medical human resources in the future. The highlight of this conference is that the reports are practical and urgent on a scientific basis, so they have good applicability,” said Dr. Pham Van Nguyen - Vice Principal, Head of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
Accordingly, the jury selected according to the criteria, scored the topics and selected the excellent topics. The award structure was awarded to the excellent topics with 1 first prize worth 3 million VND belonging to student Nguyen Pham Tra My with the topic: "Initial development of medicinal herbs Phyllanthus emblica" ; 1 second prize worth 2 million VND belonging to student Bui Thi Ha Le with the topic: "Comparison of the quality of black garlic made from Vietnamese and Chinese garlic" ; 2 third prizes worth 1 million VND each belonging to student Quach Van Thang with the topic: "Enriching isoflavonoids of kudzu using H103 adsorbent resin" and Nguyen Ngoc Yen with the topic: "Survey of drug use in the treatment of hypertension in diabetic patients at Thanh Nhan Hospital" ; 3 consolation prizes went to students Nguyen Phuong Dung with the topic: "Research on biodiversity of the genus Kim Ngan" , Hoang Thi Dung with the topic: "Survey of small volume injectable drugs that have been researched, produced and circulated in Vietnam" and Nguyen Thi Nhu Hoa with the topic: "Factors affecting the purchase and sale of antibiotics in Hanoi".

With the contributions and achievements in the first Youth Scientific Conference of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Dai Nam University, Dai Nam University is on the rise in training, and affirming its position in vocational education in general, and the Pharmaceutical industry in particular.
