97% of Dai Nam University lecturers are rated Excellent and Good by students.

The results of the survey to collect feedback from students on the teaching activities of lecturers at Dai Nam University in the first semester of the 2021-2022 academic year show that: 97% of lecturers were rated Excellent and Good by students. In particular, 100% of lecturers in many faculties were rated Excellent and Good. This is an annual survey conducted after each semester. Notably, up to now, Dai Nam University is still the first and only university to periodically conduct this survey and evaluation.

Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University said: “Surveying and collecting feedback from students on the teaching activities of lecturers after each semester has been implemented by Dai Nam University since the early days of the school's establishment and has been maintained and developed until today. This is one of the practical activities contributing to the implementation of fair and democratic regulations in the school; receiving students' opinions and contributions, better understanding the aspirations of students to improve teaching and learning effectiveness; enhancing the sense of responsibility of lecturers in teaching; creating an information channel to help lecturers adjust their teaching activities better and better; providing a basis for managers to have more data to comment and evaluate lecturers; contributing to improving the training quality of Dai Nam University…”

After nearly 1.5 decades of construction and development, Dai Nam University has had a huge change in the QUANTITY and QUALITY of its staff and lecturers.

Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh added that 100% of lecturers applying to Dai Nam University, in addition to meeting the school's strict lecturer recruitment criteria, must also present lectures before the school's Scientific Council and pass a direct evaluation round from students.

100% of lecturers are directly evaluated by students after each semester.

Conducting the survey, all lecturers participating in teaching the full-time university system in the first semester of the 2021-2022 academic year at Dai Nam University were evaluated on the following contents: Preparing online lectures, online teaching methods, online teaching content, online classroom management skills and general assessment of learners' satisfaction with online learning.

The survey results show that, out of 318 surveyed lecturers, 309 lecturers achieved Excellent and Good grades, accounting for 97%; 08 lecturers achieved Fair grades, accounting for 2.5%, and only 01 lecturer achieved Average grades, accounting for 0.3%.

In particular, the Faculty of E-commerce and Digital Economy has the percentage of lecturers rated at Excellent with absolute results (100% of votes). The Faculty of Nursing, the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology... have the percentage of lecturers rated at Good with absolute results (100% of votes). The remaining faculties have the percentage of lecturers rated at Fair or higher all reaching over 90%.

That shows that the quality of Dai Nam's teaching staff is very good, with high expertise and pedagogical skills, capable of training generations of excellent and capable students, meeting the increasing needs of society. In particular, in the context of online teaching and learning with many difficulties and limitations, lecturers have made great efforts to help students understand the lessons, master knowledge and skills. According to Dr. Nguyen Viet Anh, 100% of students are aware of their rights and responsibilities in providing feedback on school activities in general and teaching activities in particular, so they give very positive and fair assessments.
