In the 2018-2019 academic year, the Faculty of Accounting - Dai Nam University has 8 scientific research topics from groups of authors with diverse content, subjects and scope of research. On May 10, 2019, the Faculty of Accounting held a Student Scientific Research Conference to accept students' scientific research topics with the participation of the Faculty Acceptance Council, staff, lecturers and hundreds of students.

On May 10, 2019, the Faculty of Accounting held a Student Scientific Research Conference to accept students' scientific research topics with the participation of the Faculty Acceptance Council, staff, lecturers and hundreds of students.

The Faculty of Accounting Student Scientific Research Conference attracted many student groups to participate in research.
Speaking at the Conference, Dr. Le The Anh - Head of the Faculty of Accounting, Dai Nam University emphasized: “ Student scientific research activities are a key factor in the teaching and learning of the Faculty of Accounting - Dai Nam University. Not only helping students grasp and apply knowledge into real life, scientific research activities also help discover and foster typical factors, helping them achieve success in studying and scientific research…”

After listening to the research group present the results of the topic, the teachers in the council commented, gave suggestions, shared with the student groups about the content of the topics and suggested directions for developing the topics for further research. The discussion of the reporting groups was really a good opportunity for students to gain more knowledge about the industry's expertise in connection with reality. This is a good opportunity for students of the Faculty of Accounting to learn from experience, best prepare for their journey into life.

According to the summary results, 8/8 research topics of the student groups that were accepted were all ranked as good or higher. Of which, 05 research topics were assessed as typical, and were evaluated by the Acceptance Council with high scores, specifically: First prize went to the topic: " Comparison of international accounting standards and Vietnamese accounting standards on fixed assets; 2 Second prizes: " Research on the impact of special consumption tax on tobacco consumption behavior " and the topic: " Research on VAT accounting at Hong Lam Joint Stock Company ", Third prizes went to 2 research topics: " The impact of part-time work on the learning outcomes of Dai Nam University students " and the topic: " ISO 9001:2015 standards and the current status of application in Vietnam ".

MSc. Han Thi Thuy Linh - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Accounting represented the Council to review the student's scientific research topic.
MSc. Han Thi Thuy Linh - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Accounting, Dai Nam University said: " The scientific research works of the student group have gradually been linked to the socio-economic situation in the country as well as internationally, have explored new issues, new gaps that need to be researched, and have used many quantitative analysis models to evaluate and solve the research goals and questions."

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Accounting, Dr. Le The Anh praised the scientific research spirit of the students, the dedication and seriousness of the instructors so that the research groups could achieve the best results. The Board of Directors of the Faculty hopes that the students in the faculty will continue to promote their creativity, eagerness to learn, passion for scientific research, and develop the student scientific research movement more and more deeply.
