Admissions Fair 2021: Dai Nam attracts the attention of tens of thousands of candidates and parents

Participating in the 2021 Admissions and Career Counseling Festival, Dai Nam University (DNU) attracted the interest of tens of thousands of students and parents in learning about the school's 18 training majors, especially the Health sector including the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and majors with high social demand that the school is focusing on developing and internationalizing such as Business Administration, Information Technology, language majors (English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese)...

As one of 170 training institutions participating in the 2021 Admissions and Career Counseling Day, Dai Nam University hopes to provide candidates and parents with useful information, helping them overcome initial obstacles and choose the most suitable major and university.

This year, Dai Nam University “landed” on the campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology with 04 consulting booths with sophisticated and outstanding designs; a system of modern learning models; homemade medicine, herbal products, ointments, and dry antiseptic gels; ancient characters, cosplay; calligraphy and a series of other attractive experiential activities. In particular, a strong force of nearly 500 staff, lecturers and students “dyed orange” on the campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology enthusiastically answered and provided full information to candidates and parents.

Coming to the consulting booth of Dai Nam University, students and parents are not only provided with the latest information on the 2021 High School Graduation Exam and University Admissions, effective exam preparation experience, but also advice on how to choose a major, choose a suitable school, admission methods, training environment, etc. In particular, the school also provides useful information forecasting the human resource needs of fields and professions in the future, changes in the structure of professions in the context of digital transformation.

Also at the Festival, information about the training program, teaching staff, learning environment, practice - internship, output standards, career opportunities, tuition - scholarship policies... were also answered enthusiastically and in detail by teachers and students of the school.

Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thuy from Nam Dinh and her son took the bus to Hanoi at 5am to participate in the 2021 Admissions and Career Counseling Day. She shared: “There are too many universities and the admission methods are now becoming more and more complicated, so I brought my son here to get clear advice from the teachers to avoid ambiguity…”

For majors in the Health sector, students and parents have many questions about the teaching staff, practical learning, and internships at hospitals during the training process.

Like most candidates, Duong Khanh Van - a 12th grade student at Thai Binh High School for the Gifted - is confused by the "matrix" of careers. This female student is wondering which career to choose that is both suitable for her strengths and passions and in line with the trends of the times, while her strength is in group B. To answer that concern, the advisory board of Dai Nam University advised to focus on choosing majors in the Health sector such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing... because these are hot careers in all trends of the times. Especially, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic becoming increasingly complicated and dangerous worldwide and the need to care for and protect people's health is increasing.
