Career Orientation and Job Opportunities Seminar for Information Technology Students

In order to improve the quality of student training in general and career orientation for students in particular, the Faculty of Information Technology of Dai Nam University organized a career orientation seminar: "IT human resources in the era of the 4.0 technology revolution" for students of Information Technology on December 27, 2017 at Room 202 of Dai Nam University, Phu Lam campus, Ha Dong. The program helps students share their difficulties in studying, and at the same time listen to the sharing of recruitment units in the recruitment work; thereby orienting the career of IT students about to graduate to have the best preparation for their future careers.
In order to improve the quality of student training in general and career orientation for students in particular, the Faculty of Information Technology of Dai Nam University organized a career orientation seminar: "IT human resources in the era of the 4.0 technology revolution" for students of Information Technology on December 27, 2017 at Room 202 of Dai Nam University, Phu Lam campus, Ha Dong. The program helps students share their difficulties in studying, and at the same time listen to the sharing of recruitment units in the recruitment work; thereby orienting the career of IT students about to graduate to have the best preparation for their future careers.
Attending the seminar were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the school and Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, along with all the teachers in the Faculty. At the same time, the program also had the presence of representatives from TOPICA Education Technology Group, BKACAD Polytechnic Institute of Information Technology and NIIT International Training Center.
Attending the seminar were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Principal of the school and Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, along with all the teachers in the Faculty. At the same time, the program also had the presence of representatives from TOPICA Education Technology Group, BKACAD Polytechnic Institute of Information Technology and NIIT International Training Center.

At the workshop, Dr. Luong Cao Dong shared his heartfelt thoughts and messages to the students of the Faculty of Information Technology, encouraging them to make constant efforts in the process of improving their knowledge during their university years so that when they graduate, they can achieve their dreams and ambitions, contributing their youth, capacity and intelligence to society.
“For the Faculty of Information Technology of Dai Nam University, the issue of employment for graduates is an important goal in the training orientation of the Faculty of Information Technology in particular and the university in general. Especially in the era of the 4.0 revolution, a digital era, an era full of opportunities but also full of challenges for the IT industry. Therefore, career orientation has truly become one of the top concerns in the training work of the faculty in particular and of Dai Nam University in general,” Mr. Dong shared.
To help students better understand the concept, characteristics and grasp career opportunities in the era of the 4.0 revolution, representatives of the units presented to students about the opportunities, challenges, and problems in the era of the 4.0 revolution; network and start-up; "The mission of IT human resources in the era of industry 4.0". Students listened to practical and useful sharing, understood better about the technological revolution and knew how to grasp the prospects of career opportunities.

Hoang Manh Tien - IT student 0801 expressed: “This seminar program is really meaningful and necessary for us. A lot of practical knowledge is not available in books or documents found online and is really useful for studying and grasping career opportunities. In the time before graduation, we were given the opportunity by the School to participate in the seminar, being provided with useful knowledge as a solid foundation for our future path. We feel more confident in the care of teachers, the School and more confident in the major we have chosen”.
Also at the program, IT students discussed with school leaders and representatives of guest organizations about issues that they were interested in, questions and concerns about the seminar topic that needed to be clarified. Students were able to exchange and ask questions to recruiters, from which they could determine their future career goals and better understand the recruitment needs of businesses so that they could try harder in their studies. In order to encourage Dai Nam students in their studies, representatives of participating units gave them gifts and awarded prizes for good and correct questions.
Also at the program, IT students discussed with school leaders and representatives of guest organizations about issues that they were interested in, questions and concerns about the seminar topic that needed to be clarified.
