Perhaps everyone has not forgotten the tearful, choked-up sharing of Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal about a cancer case of our school in the recent Traditional Camp 2019. That was the case of student Le Thi Lan Anh - Tourism class 12-03 with leukemia. She discovered the disease while doing an internship in Da Nang and is currently being treated at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
Perhaps everyone has not forgotten the tearful, choked-up sharing of Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal about a cancer case of our school in the recent Traditional Camp 2019. That was the case of student Le Thi Lan Anh - Tourism class 12-03 with leukemia. She discovered the disease while doing an internship in Da Nang and is currently being treated at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
Le Thi Lan Anh is one of the excellent students of the Faculty of Tourism, an active member of the Volunteer Student Team - Dai Nam University.
The illness struck at such a young age (18 years old), causing Lan Anh and her family to collapse mentally. Treating leukemia is truly a very tiring battle mentally and financially. Lan Anh is the eldest child in the family, with a younger brother in high school. Both parents are workers, and the family's financial situation is limited . The little girl has wanted to give up more than once because of the pain and the hardships her parents have endured.
To promptly encourage her, on April 4, under the direction of the Board of Directors, the school representative, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal, visited, encouraged and gave gifts .
In order to carry out the good humanistic tradition of "helping each other, loving others as you love yourself" of the Vietnamese people, the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, and mutual assistance of the staff and lecturers of Dai Nam University, the Board of Directors calls on all staff, lecturers, employees, students and everyone with good will, to voluntarily contribute and support student Le Thi Lan Anh in spirit and material to contribute part of the cost of medical treatment, to overcome this difficult period .
Dr. Le Thi Thanh Huong - Vice Principal of Dai Nam University, representing the Board of Directors and the Board of Management, visited and presented gifts to students and their families.
Her treatment is currently racing against time and depends heavily on finances. The school is looking forward to receiving quick and timely help from everyone . Any support, no matter how small or large, is a great source of encouragement for the family in general and Lan Anh in particular, so that she has more strength to continue fighting this terrible disease .
