Implementing the plan for the new school year 2016 - 2017, with the approval of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, on the morning of September 17, 2016, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Dai Nam University held a conference to summarize the work of class cadres and Union cadres in the school year 2015 - 2016 and deploy tasks for the school year 2016 - 2017.
Attending the Conference were Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the School; Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of the School; Comrade Pham Hong Duc - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union along with teachers who are leaders of Departments, Boards, Faculties and a large number of students who are class officers, outstanding Youth Union officers from Youth Union branches and Student Volunteer Teams.

At the beginning of the Conference, Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the School opened the Conference, he emphasized the importance of class cadres and Youth Union cadres in the movement and study activities of the Youth Union and the School. He said: "Class cadres and Youth Union cadres are the core force in a collective. Class cadres are responsible for supporting homeroom teachers to maintain and develop the study movement as well as other movement activities in the class."

Dr. Luong Cao Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of the School emphasized the importance of class cadres and Youth Union cadres in a Youth Union.

Along with the school's annual movement activities such as "Traditional Camp, Love Cake, Humanitarian Blood Donation, Garbage Collection to Protect the Environment...", the "Green Lecture Hall" emulation movement was newly launched at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year but has brought positive results. The "Green Lecture Hall" movement includes three main emulation contents: "Green Environment, Green Knowledge and Green Ethics". With these three emulation contents, the Youth Union and class cadres together with the Youth Volunteer Team actively carry out the task. After one year of implementation, the "Green Lecture Hall" movement has achieved many results, namely: Students have been conscious of wearing their badges when coming to school; going to school on time, not skipping classes; after school, students have cleaned up their classrooms, turned off all electrical equipment before going home...

Summarizing the emulation movement "Green Lecture Hall", Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Member of the Executive Committee of the School Youth Union, who is mainly responsible for the movement, shared: " The purpose of the Green Lecture Hall emulation movement is to help Dai Nam students raise their awareness and responsibility from the smallest actions such as picking up trash, going to school on time... From there, build the image of Dai Nam University students with society and with employers. In order for members of the Youth Union to effectively implement the Green Lecture Hall movement, class officers must be role models and bridges to help the class achieve the highest emulation scores."
To develop the Youth Union strongly, we cannot fail to mention the enthusiasm and dedication in all activities of the Student Volunteer Team. Since the school's founding, the Student Volunteer Team has become a core unit, providing effective support in all school movement activities. Annual activities such as "Green Summer Campaign", charity activities at Children's Centers, hospitals... have left a beautiful image in the hearts of society about the green shirt of Dai Nam University's student volunteers. Listening to the summary reports on the activities of class cadres, Youth Union cadres and movements in the 2015-2016 school year, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of the School, who is also in charge of the school's movement activities, gave compliments on the results achieved by the Youth Union and Student Volunteer Teams in the past school year.
To help students better understand the importance of a class officer, a Youth Union officer and movement work in the 2016-2017 school year, she shared: “Class officers and Youth Union officers are outstanding faces that are trusted and chosen by students to represent the Youth Union. Therefore, you must always seriously review what you have done and what you have not done to continue to strive to build a strong collective. In addition to achievements in movement activities, I hope that in the 2016-2017 school year, scientific research activities and emulation movements will be promoted and achieved more achievements by you.”

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal of the School hopes that class officers and Youth Union officers will always seriously fulfill their roles in the collective.

The conference also listened to many presentations from students, sharing their learning experiences, as well as their thoughts on the responsibilities and obligations of a class officer and a Youth Union officer.

Nguyen Van Long, Class President of Pharmacy 08-01, presented a paper and shared his thoughts as a class officer.

To recognize and encourage the achievements of outstanding individuals and groups in the 2015-2016 school year, the School Board has awarded certificates of merit and prizes. This is the most positive source of encouragement to help students who are class officers, Youth Union officers and Youth Union branches continue to strive in their studies and complete their tasks well in the new school year 2016-2017.

Besides the achievements, there are still many shortcomings in the work of class cadres and Youth Union cadres. In order for the 2016-2017 school year to achieve higher results in studying and movement activities of the Youth Union and the School, class cadres and Youth Union cadres need to be serious, fulfill their responsibilities and duties, become a bridge, a "steerer" to bring the Youth Union up, contributing to the development of the School.
