According to the report of the General Association of Construction, the whole country has nearly 78,000 construction enterprises with about 4 million workers. This number is quite low because according to the plan, by 2020, the construction industry's workforce must reach 8-9 million people. Currently, on average, each year Vietnam spends 30-40% of GDP on investment in building technical infrastructure, developing industrial parks, industries, urbanization and cultural, educational and service works. Therefore, the demand for recruiting human resources for this industry group in the near future is very large.
It is forecasted that from now until 2020, the construction industry will have to increase by 400,000 - 500,000 people each year.
