Dai Nam University adds hundreds of new books to serve the reading needs of teachers and students

With the aim of providing a rich and diverse source of learning materials to best serve the teaching, learning, scientific research, entertainment and life experience of teachers and students, Dai Nam University has invested in building a modern and convenient library with more than 10,000 books, textbooks, documents, magazines and a digital library system for easy searching. In order to promote the reading movement and develop a reading culture in the community of teachers and students of Dai Nam University, in May 2020, the school added hundreds of textbooks, documents, books, magazines in many different fields to the library.

Dai Nam University pays special attention to building and developing a reading culture in the school.

Sharing about this policy, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa - Vice Principal said: "A great scholar once said: "The history of a person's ideological development is the history of his or her reading. A society will develop or fall behind, depending on who is reading books in the country and what books they are reading. Books not only affect an individual, they also affect the whole society. Remember that a nation is like a person, without reading books there is no hope".

According to Ms. Cao Thi Hoa, books are a place to store wisdom, more precious than money, jewels and wisdom is something that no one can take away. Because of understanding that, starting from May 2020, along with teaching and learning, Dai Nam University launched a reading movement among staff, lecturers and then spread it to students.

“Instead of surfing the phone for hours, wandering through social networking sites or wasting the whole day on useless movies... We should guide students to read books even if it is just for a short time to receive knowledge from books. Nothing is redundant, definitely reading a whole book will help everyone receive a lesson or something more valuable than spending hours doing useless things...” said Ms. Cao Thi Hoa.

Modern and convenient library system best serves the learning, research and entertainment of teachers and students.

Accordingly, the School has added hundreds of documents and textbooks to the Library for study and reference. In addition, a large number of books have been added to serve the learning and entertainment needs of staff, lecturers and students of the whole school.

Books are the repository of wisdom, more precious than money, jewels and wisdom is something that no one can take away.

In addition, staff and lecturers who need to read and learn about books that are practical in teaching or in the lives of both teachers and students can suggest those books so that the school can continue to supplement and serve them!
